Story
Brutus has a lot of love to give, he just didn't get the best start in life. He's an 80.6 lb mastiff/pit mix thats not neutered, we've had him for about a month and a half. All his shots are up to date. We got him from a family that could no longer keep him. He didn't get socialized, he was potty trained and kind of knew how to sit, he also weighted about 70 lbs. With consistent training he has learned a lot of basic skills, and he's food motivated which helps. He would do best in a place with a yard for him to run around in. Loves to play fetch but its hard to find a toy he cant destroy. He also loves to go for runs but it's best to go when theres no other dogs. So far I've seen no signs of aggression with other dogs but he runs at them full speed and doesnt know boundaries. He's a sweetheart that with the right owner he'll be the best dog ever. Unsure of how he reacts with cats

Story
This is Jack. He is 9 years old, neutered, housebroken and up top date on his vaccines. Jack is a great dog. Unfortunately, I have been under- or unemployed for two years now and I simply don't have the resources to provide for him anymore. Jack is very protective of me. Whenever he perceives a threat to me, his instinctively stands between me and the threat. So, trips to the dog park aren't very fun--he's always on high alert. However, he has been to doggie day care at least 100 times and he very much enjoys interacting with the other dogs. Jack was raised around three other dogs and he got along fine with them. Jack loves to walk and be outside. He does have a loud bark but he only barks at appropriate times--knock on the door, etc. Really, I don't want him to let him go but I can't find anywhere to live in my price range that will accept a pet.

Story
Hi. I’m Finn!  I'm a happy, friendly boy and LOVE LOVE LOVE to meet new people. Sometimes I can't help it and want to say hi to everyone that passes by. I like other dogs, too, and enjoy a good game of "chase and be chased". I like it so much that some dogs think my greeting can be a little over the top but most want to play like me but I will chill if told to. I love walks and like to sniff everything. I'm great on leash as long as you use my front clip harness.  I don't pull with the front clip and it's easy to put on. I’m working hard on training and feel I have mastered sit, down, stay, shake and off. I am really a perfect walking buddy. But I love my walks and love to go out with my people.  Even though I love other dogs, sometimes I need to be reminded to share. However, if it’s a tug-of-war rope then GAME ON. I’ll play tug all day long!  If you have a swimming spot nearby, I'm in, literally. I ride nicely in the car and jump right in. I'm ready to roll. Even though l like other dogs, I really would be happy with my very own person. My foster family takes me to German Shepherd meetups and I’ve done great!  Like I said, I'm a friendly boy just waiting for that perfect family that wants to have fun and go places. Don't get me wrong, I can be a chill, snuggle buddy too and love to cuddle my foster dad in the mornings. I am  happy to liet at your side while you work or if youre just reading a book.  If you are looking for a great out-and-about boy, and have lots of energy and time to spend with me, come see me and we can be friendls. I really would like my own family soon. It's been a while and I am a super good boy. I have been told that I am mnore handsome in person. I am not reactive to dogs and I would love my own family, hopefully with a dog. I love to play. I'll be waiting with my foster family in Mountain View. Story
Hi there! My name's Ari, and I'm a 1.5 year-old German Shepherd girl with just a hint of Doberman. I'm a svelte 60 lbs and have a sleek black coat with tan tinted toes/feet and ginormous ears. I am super cute! I'm a really sweet girl and love attention and I absolutely LOVE exploring the world around me! Going on walks is my absolute favorite thing—I just can't get enough of all the wonderful smells! Sometimes I get a bit too enthusiastic and pull on the leash, but I'm learning to respect the leash a bit more (and my human's arm). I didn't get the greatest chance to meet new people in my prior home and I can be a bit cautious sometimes but I'm learning that new poeple are fun. I really like to approach on my own, when I'm ready to say hi. I'm sure you can relate! I'm pretty friendly with other dogs and like meeting dogs that are calm and easy going. I have gone on walks with Stan and Jackson and we have a blast together! Stan and I go on walks together all the time and I would really like to play but he's just not into it. I am learning to play appropriately as it's all new to me and sometimes I get a bit excited and come on too strong but I'm a quick learner and really just want to learn to play. I'm working on being more gentle and respectful during playtime. I grew up with a cat so I might be able to live with one. I don't think I have a desire to chase things but I'm curious. I'm especially curious about smelling EVERYTHING and sometimes I get a little too grabby and pick up things on the ground I really shouldn't but it's ok, you can easily take it away from me, I share.  I didn't get a chance to get out and about much in my last home. I was adopted as a wee pup but unfortunately my humans didn't have time for me and I spent a bit too much time in the back yard entertaining myself. Fortunately I found my way back to the rescue and I'm having a blast exploring the big world. I'm still working on my 'focus' but it's so much fun learning it won't be long and I'll be paying attention AND having fun at the same time. I'm comfortable going into stores and have no issues with floors or stairs. I can sometimes get startled by loud, boistrous people and it takes me a second to chill back out but I'm working really hard on it.  I think I would thrive with someone who takes me to new places and lets me explore the world. I need adventure and excitement! With a little patience and love, I know I'll grow into the best companion anyone could ask for. I’ll be waiting in Santa Rosa. Story
Hey there-I'm Si, and let me give you the scoop on my story. A kind Good Samaritan rescued me and my sister Nu, and it's been quite the whirlwind ever since. First off, I'm a healthy and playful six-month-old girl with boundless energy. Walking on a leash? Piece of cake! I've got that skill down to a T. Plus, I'm a social butterfly – I get along famously with other dogs and absolutely adore people. Inside the house, I'm as well-behaved as they come. I've got impeccable manners and know how to keep things tidy. But don't let that fool you – I'm still all about having fun and playing games. What I'm really hoping for is to find my very own family. You know, someone who will cuddle with me, play fetch, and give me endless belly rubs. I might be just a typical pup, but I'm eager to learn and show you just how smart I am. And let me tell you, I'm a total sucker for treats – they're the key to my heart! Oh, and did I mention I'm a great listener? Whether you're sharing your secrets or teaching me new tricks, I'm all ears. So if you're on the lookout for a furry friend who's ready to shower you with love and affection, look no further. I'm here, and I can't wait to become a part of your family! I'll be waiting in Sacramento.  You like this dog...now what?
