Scooby, neutered male, 2.5 yo, 42-lbs If you would like to give SCOOBY a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application Meet Scooby! Scooby is a handsome young pup, well-mannered, cuddly and friendly. Scooby is very close to people, and he heeds commands well. He’s very food motivated, so is easy to befriend and thrive in new environment. He is sociable around people of all ages, also good with other dogs and super friendly with cats too. He’s not a chewer or barker, nor would he get into fight with other dogs over food or toy. Please watch Scooby’s videos to learn more about this goofy sweet boy! About Scooby’s rescue: Scooby’s mother and his five puppies wandered to a fishery in central Taiwan suburb. The fishery owner tried many nasty means to drive them away. They were finally wounded up in the shelter. Scooby being playful and pleasant by nature, he was adopted soon. Unfortunately, his owner got into trouble with the police and had to send him back to the shelter. A second owner kept Scooby for a short time but due to his inexperience with dogs, Scooby was given up shortly after. The rescuer decided to place Scooby under the overseas adoption program to give this sweet dog a second chance. Story
Dolly, spayed female, 3y-5-m-old, 44-lbs If you would like to give DOLLY a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application Dolly has an easy-going temperament, very playful and lively. She loves people and is sociable around other dogs and stays calm when meeting cats. She is potty trained and crate trained to sleep overnight; not a chewer or barker. Dolly is most suitable for an outdoor loving family, and/or as an addition to family with dog. Dolly’s rescue story: Driving home during a stormy night, the rescuer spotted a dark moving object in-between the traffic lanes. When she stopped her car to check it out, she found Dolly moving toward her slowly, wagging her tail. She didn’t seem injured but apparently had difficulty moving. Dolly followed the rescuer to her car and off to the hospital they went. The doctor’s diagnostic was that Dolly simply suffered from starvation. Under the care of her foster family, Dolly regained her hearth and received proper training. But being a dog with black color coat has hardly any chance to be adopted by local people. Hopefully Dolly can start her new life aboard. Please watch Dolly’s YouTube videos below: Good with strangers. http://youtu.be/IOet0NJgO-s http://youtu.be/PjWQOutfdRk http://youtu.be/j6TFKxaOtJg http://youtu.be/COyDbrowYdI Follows the commands well http://youtu.be/aggL8Dc7Xpk http://youtu.be/QKhqptJbX6A Has no food aggression with human and dogs. http://youtu.be/IPlsUM55FdI http://youtu.be/wOlhL0SEw3M Good with cats. http://youtu.be/RIl8oIOfB8M Interact well with dogs. http://youtu.be/y61ksv1rWAo http://youtu.be/QiLp2aN63W0 http://youtu.be/3Xgnr5H-c5w Interact well with kids. http://youtu.be/dmWE9ncl_KA Walk leash training well http://youtu.be/NxyAkyhz_WQ http://youtu.be/yy4yCGlI_JE http://youtu.be/ow99zEy8yT4 Temperament: Energy level: Medium Ideal home environment: Quiet or active both Is the dog good with strangers: yes The dog is best with children of what age group? Bobby, neutered male, 13-months old, 42-lbs If you would like to give BOBBY a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application Bobby is a lively, playful, and happy pup when around his human pack. He is super mellow and well behaved by nature. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. Bobby adapted and thrived quickly in foster care. He is potty trained and crate trained to sleep overnight. His favorite pastime is his daily walks and hanging out with play pals in the park. Bobby is calm and docile compared to young pups his age. He would be a great candidate for family looking for a companion pet. About Bobby’s rescue: Bobby was deserted at the park, he was around six months old at the time. Volunteer posted his story on social media asking for help, but didn’t get any response. He was friendly to the park visitors and sometimes played with their dogs. During the time the volunteer was looking for foster opportunity for him. Before an organized fair held at the park, Bobby was picked up by the local shelter. Fortunately, the volunteer landed a foster family for Bobby and got him out of the shelter shortly. Bobby got out of the shell and became his old and friendly self soon afterwards.
