Story
Macaroni is a smart, playful, and energetic pup with a lot of love to give. He’s fantastic with people and has a natural friendliness that shines when meeting new faces. He has lived peacefully with both big and small dogs, displaying a playful and non-aggressive nature. Macaroni knows “sit” and learned it quickly (just a few treats did the trick!), showing how eager he is to please and learn.Training Needs:Macaroni is still working on his leash manners. He’s strong and sometimes treats the leash like a toy, pulling with excitement. He would benefit from some leash training to help him channel his energy and focus. With the right guidance, he’ll make big strides, as he’s already showing a willingness to learn.Playtime Preferences:This boy loves his red ball and a good game of tug-of-war. He’s still learning how to let go of his toys, but he’s getting there! Macaroni’s enthusiasm sometimes makes him a bit of a “space invader,” so he might do best in a family without very small kids.Overall:Macaroni is a young, loving dog who just needs a family ready to guide him through his training and give him plenty of love and playtime. With his intelligence and eagerness to please, he’s bound to be a wonderful companion!I`m available for a 10 day adoption trial!Learn more about our adoption process.

Story
Reese is a three-year-old husky who is ready for his big moment!Though Reese was initially a bit shy at the shelter, often retreating to the back of his kennel, he’s come a long way. Now he’s thrilled to see his favorite volunteers, happily trotting alongside them with his tail wagging in pure joy.At around 45 pounds, Reese is a bit smaller than the average husky, but he more than makes up for it with his energy and personality. He’s a playful spirit, especially with his toys—he’ll even play fetch solo, tossing his toy in the air and chasing it down with glee.Reese would thrive in a calm home where he can ease into his new surroundings. Once he settles in, he’ll be an absolute joy to have around. Come meet this wonderful pup today and see the fun he brings!I`m available for a 10 day adoption trial!Learn more about our adoption process.

Story
Meet Pepper, the spunky 2-year-old husky who`s ready to add some zest to your life! With her stunning red and white coat, she’s a blur of energy—whether she`s zooming around the yard or embarking on a new adventure. Pepper loves her walks and enjoys sniffing her way through new areas, but she’s also got a playful side, especially when there’s a squeaker toy or ball involved. She’s learning to love fetch and can’t resist the fun of chasing things down.Pepper is an independent spirit who’s looking for a home where she can thrive at her own pace. She’s a bit cautious at first but will open up once she feels comfortable. Whether it`s quietly laying down for pets or playing in the yard, Pepper enjoys spending time with her people on her terms. She’s very smart, knows her commands, and is food motivated—cheese and hot dogs are her top picks for treats! While she can be a bit anxious in new situations, Pepper is making great progress. She’s got the kind of personality that will shine once she’s settled in a calm, loving home. She’s not afraid to speak up for attention (she can demand her treats with a little bark), but she also knows how to enjoy a relaxing moment on the couch with you.Pepper would do best in a home that understands her need for space and patience as she builds trust. If you’re looking for a sweet, intelligent, and adventurous companion who’s ready to bring some joy into your life, Pepper is your girl! Ready to add a little spice to your world? Pepper can’t wait to meet you!I`m available for a 10 day adoption trial!Learn more about our adoption process.

Story
Leslie is a gorgeous two-year-old German Shepherd mix who has been awaiting her forever home for far too long! Leslie got to attend a yoga class and was a star `yoga assistant`: Leslie can be a little shy while meeting new people and encountering new things. Unfortunately, her trepidation sometimes means she will bark at people she doesn’t know, which in turn makes people shy away from her. Thankfully, the trainers at Pasadena Humane have been working with her to build her confidence, and they’ve seen her start to show off her true personality much more clearly. Leslie is a VERY smart and easy-to-train dog. She knows quite a few training cues like “sit”, “down” and “shake”. She will even “play dead” and pretty much anything else you try to teach her. With a smart dog like Edman the sky is the limit! Leslie also bonds very quickly with everyone who can see through the gruff exterior that she puts up. Once you’re in her inner circle, all she wants is to be attached to you at the hip. She will constantly check in on you as you take her out for a walk or work on training with her. As her confidence grows, her inquisitive and fun nature comes out. She will find a plush toy to relax with, or she’ll sniff out the treat you thought she missed. When she relaxes on her dog bed, she is as happy as can be. With the right family, this shy girl will surely blossom into the amazing dog we all know she can be! Come spend some time with Leslie and see this diamond in the rough! I`m available for a 10 day adoption trial!Learn more about our adoption process.
