Story
Kita, a female Shepard Akita cross, was born on May 29, 2019. We adopted her from a family in the Bay Area with ten children. She was put up for adoption because they wanted a guard dog, and Kita was not into the gauging mode but loved to be with all people and would not react or bark when a stranger came into the yard. We adopted her as a companion for our child, and as our child has not bonded with the dog and shows little interest in the dog, she is lonely. We concluded that Kita would be happier if she could find a place with more people who have time for her. She gets separation anxiety when left alone. She loves to chase and dig for gophers or anything moving. She is very obedient, obeys commands to heel, plays dead, shakes, down, etc., and is home-friendly. All her commands are in German, as the previous owners taught her in that language so as not to confuse her when they were talking to their children. Good with children, no history of biting people.

Sokka LOVES people! You can bet he'll greet you with a smile and butt wiggles... and even be happier as he gets as many scritches and scratches as he can! He has been to many foster homes while in our care and we have lots of info to share! Sokka is the best houseguest! Sokka is housebroken, crate trained, knows basic commands, and has a great personality. He's such a good boy in so many ways. Sokka has enjoyed the company of kiddos and would do just fine in an adult home as well. Sokka enjoys his part time stint as office dog and when he is not making our customers feel special you can find him lounging belly up enjoying a comfy bed. Will you help us find this guy his family!
