Story
Oliver is a very loving Great Dane. He is very laid back and mostly lounges around the house. He enjoys playing fetch and tug of war. Oliver loves to be near his people and is happiest when receiving love and affection. He can be quite stubborn at times, consistency and persistence go a long way. Our lives have become too busy for us to give him the life he deserves. I'm hoping to find him a loving home where he will get all the hugs and pets he deserves. He has had a few bite incidents. The trigger for the bites were when someone was trying to make him move when he didn't want to. Aside from one incident when an elderly woman was petting his face and he snapped at her, not biting, but his tooth scratched the skin on her hand. During these bite incidents he did not growel or give any warning signs prior to the bite.

Story
Meet Skye, This beautiful two-year-old female pit bull is looking for her forever home. I’ve had her since she was just six weeks old, and she has been the most loving and loyal companion. She’s a wonderful family dog. She’s protective, affectionate, and full of fun energy. She loves outdoor activities like walks in the park, hiking, and running, so she’d thrive with an active family who has the time and energy to keep up with her adventurous spirit. A home with a backyard would be ideal for her to play and explore. While she hasn’t had much experience with cats or other dogs besides my older female dog who became like her surrogate mother. Her personality shines best when she’ s around people who can give her love and structure. She’ll make a fantastic companion for someone ready to welcome her into their life. If you think you’re re the right fit, let’s connect to give her the loving home she deserves!

Story
Meet Kobe! He is a 5 year old Mastiff/Staffordshire terrier mix. Kobe Is a stud and gets looks wherever he goes, whether it's quick trips to Home Depot or visiting the beach. He has a stocky build and a gorgeous face and weighs about 75 pounds full grown.. Kobe is originally from the South LA Shelter and has been at our kennel waiting for a forever home! If you adopt Kobe, he comes with 6 months of weekly training sessions at our kennel plus two weeks of boarding. He walks well on leash and does not pull unless he sees a cat or small dog. He knows his basic commands, sit, down, stay and come and orients to his handler well. Kobe is very strong, but very gentle and sweet as well. Due to his size and strength we believe he would do well with an experienced dog owner either as an only dog and we prefer him to live in a house with a yard vs apartment. Here is what his trainer recently said about him: I've been working with Kobe for a few months now, and he is always happy to see me and always ready for some fun together. We have been working on leash manners and he does very nicely (unless there is a stray cat lurking about and we have been working on leaving those alone too.) Kobe enjoys going to the park and watching all of the kids, bikes, dogs and horses that go by with ease. He knows all of his commands like; sit, down, stay, focus, and is working on rollover! He's easy to get in and out of the car and is an excellent passenger. I really can't say enough great things about this big hunk, he has the looks and the personality and would be a great dog to snuggle with on the couch. Yesterday Kobe worked on walking nicely by distractions, ie bikes, remote cars, drones, horses, goats, dogs, kids playing soccer etc. We worked on down, stay, and learned rollover (which is more rub my belly 🤣). He was great getting in and out of my car and sat nicely outside Starbucks and had a puppachino with a lot of stuff going on around him. SEE VIDEO! Story
MEET LAILA! Look up ageless in the dictionary and you might just find a picture of LAILA. Laila is a stunning 13 years young beauty who doesn't seem to know she's a senior. This vivacious lady loves hiking, long walks (multiple times a day if you'll oblige), and running zoomies between head scratches, sunbathing, and perching on her fort. Her zest for an adventurist life knows no bound! Laila can be touch sensitive but beneath that wild child exterior, she just wants to be loved and pampered like the queen she is. She was rescued from South LA shelter back in 2018 and has celebrated multiple New Years, Valentine's, Halloweens, Thanksgivings, and Christmases with us. We're hoping this is the year she lands herself an adoring family and warm home to call her own. Laila is house-trained and crate-trained. We recommend a home without other pets and she would do best with older children (high school age or older). Story
Meet BIG BOSS, a big 10yo couch potato! He was adopted from after we rescued him from South LA shelter but unfortunately, due to pandemic hard times and no fault of his own, he is looking for a new home. Here is some of what his adopter had said about BIG BOSS. - 80 pounds of love and affection. - Mellow and easy-going. - He LOVES people and if he had his way he would stop and say hi to every person he sees. - Likes walks but doesn't go far or fast. - He is a sweet and loving couch potato that wants nothing more than to be around his person At our kennel, he is likes to lounge around in the sun. He's indifferent to the older dogs, but perks right up and plays with the younger female dogs we've had in our rescue. https://www.instagram.com/p/CZSsIEzP9Jw/ Big Boss is house-trained, crate-trained, microchipped and current on shots. We recommend a home with middle age school kids or above and no cats. He's very easy to walk and enjoys trying to keep up with the "ladies". Check out this video https://www.instagram.com/p/CFnWtnaH3Qa/ If you are in Los Angeles and interested in learning more about Big Boss.
