Story
Gogo is truly a super nice and chill gent. He is calm and sweet. Walks great on a leash. Knows sit and paw/shake. Loves his treats (turkey sausage, chicken breast). He loves to take his naps on the lawn or the backyard where he has a comfortable and nice spot. He may be an older guy, but he loves, loves, loves his daily walk. That is truly his "happy place" :-) GREAT companion for your morning walk in the neighborhood, a day in the park or just an easy afternoon watching your favorite shows! Come meet Gogo and you will know exactly what I mean :-)

Story
Thor is a big boy with a great personality. He is patient and tolerant :-) with all the smaller dogs and easygoing. He likes to sunbathe in the yard and plays with his squeaky toys. He is a great walker and does not mind any other people or dogs on walk. Experienced Pit owner is required to avoid "learning curve". Thor does not need lots of exercise. A few walks a day in the neighborhood work for him. Please let us know if you believe you can be Thor's family. Thank you.

Story
I'm trying to assist my daughter's boyfriend, Isaac, in rehoming his 4 year old Boxer, Macho. The family can no longer afford to keep him and care for him. He is up to date on his vaccines but is not neutered. He has been with the family since shortly after he was born. In the past year home dynamics have also changed. Isaac is now in school and working and both his parents work. Macho is in the backyard alone most of the day and night. This isolation in the past year has made him weary of other people and some animals. He is prone to growl or bark. Prior to this year that was not an issue. I didn't want to see the dog end up at a shelter and probably euthanized. I asked the family to give me some time to see what I could find and hopefully get a rescue or adoption done. Please advise if you can assist in any way. Thank you.

Story
Meet sweet baby boy Thunder.. aka Romeo. Thunder is a 9 week old male Lab/Great Dane mix puppy. He was rescued by Labradors & Friends Dog Rescue when he was listed urgent at a county shelter. He had been adopted by a family but was returned after just a few days when he was diagnosed with parvo and the family could not afford treatment. Thunder is all better now and is thriving in his foster home. He shares a temp home with other dogs who he gets along great with. He is just a baby so he is amazing and will be a fantastic member of a deserving family/person. He was named 'Thunder', but we call him Romeo because he's such a love-bug. He gives endless puppy kisses and loves children and everyone he meets. He is a smart little guy and learning to go potty outside even at his very young age. Don't miss out on this fantastic squish-mellow faced little guy.. he will surely melt your heart when you meet him. For an adoption application, please visit www.labradorsandfriends.org website and click on THUNDER - you will see an adoption application to complete online. You can also reach me, his foster home with ANY questions you may have: Text/Call: 626-488-7487 OR Email: soniaramirez_2000@yahoo.com

Story
She is an inside dog, crate trained and will bark at anyone coming to the door. She will do okay on walks, loves attention and can't get enough. She loves to play tug-a-war with her toys and cuddle. She is a bit anxious with car rides and calms down once you get going. I use the smaller crate if I am going on a long ride with her. She is puppy pad trained as well there is a small patio where travel crate is kept just outside the door. She will stay out there for a good amount of time when I am home and the weather permits. Eats a 1/2 cup of dry food twice daily and will let you know when she needs to go outside. I purchase her food at Perrfect Pet who has a large selection with a loyalty program. Her food is better than you can find in the grocery store. She drinks plenty of water too and is a healthy dog. She comes with: Large Crate and a smaller one for transportation. Pet bedding, towels and blankets bowls, treats, shampoo, brush, harness, tags and leash.

Story
For those who are up to a challenge, we are looking for an experienced foster/adopter who can help Hopper. Hopper is a special little guy who needs someone who can work with him and his issues. He has triggers that have lead to bites. He needs help working with someone who knows how to retrain his brain. Hopper is a quirky little guy who does love people, especially when they understand his quirks. Hopper is trustful of the person who cares for him and loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. He needs a person to understand his boundaries and that he gives love on his terms. He loves to run at full speed into rooms to greet everyone there. He is very food motivated. He does not like to be picked up and has a dislike of harnesses. He's getting better with allowing harnesses but needs more work on being desensitized to them. He needs someone who understands and accepts that he does not like being picked up, which is not really necessary. He's learned to use stairs to get up on the couch to sit next to you. At night, he's good in a kennel or on a dog bed. Hopper is good with other dogs who are his size. He's not too welcoming of bigger dogs but tolerates them to a point. He can be food protective so no trying to take away his bowl once he's eating (who would do that anyway?). Hopper is neutered, vaccinated and house trained (might mark in the beginning like most male dogs do). Please contact us if you can help Hopper. Our email is heartandhomerescueorg@gmail.com or call us at 951-708-0626.
