Story
Meet Bailey, the adorable and goofy 2-year-old Shepard Pittie mix with a heart of gold!  Rescued from a homeless encampment with her newborn babies, Bailey's journey has been one of resilience and inspiration. She worked tirelessly to protect her little ones and now she's ready for her well-deserved happy ending (or we like to say, beginning)!  Over the past few months, we've seen Bailey blossom into an incredible love bug.  Currently thriving in a foster home here's what we've learned about her: *She's great with kids *She's a natural family dog with a deep-rooted mama instinct.  *She enjoys playtime with other dogs.  Baily's intelligence shines through during walks, making her the perfect walking buddy.  And when it's cuddle time, Bailey's calm and snuggly side emerges, especially with the kiddos. If you're looking for a furry family member, Bailey is patiently and lovingly waiting for her forever family. Is that you?

Story
This one-year-old Lab /Staffy/Mastiff mix is named Mackie and is the Mac Daddy of all dogs. Weighing in at 85 pounds, he is the silliest and goofiest kid who constantly makes you laugh. If you’ve ever wanted an oversized lap dog who wants to make out 24/7 he’s your man. Big Mac is a supermodel constantly stopping traffic with his gorgeous slate grey/blue coat and STUNNING green/yellow eyes. Mackie was rescued off the streets of Skid Row where he lived on a short chain, but you would never guess that he’s seen a bad day in his life with his sweet, puppy-like nature. He is eager to please, loves kids and just wants to be part of the mix. **Did we mention he loves KITTIES?? Who is this guy!? He also loves big and small dogs as well. Mackie is basically perfect so if you want to add a unicorn dog to your family or know someone who is, he is patiently and lovingly waiting for a family.

Story
Max is a 6-year-old, 30lb, well-trained and friendly dog seeking a HOME with NO OTHER DOGS. He is great for hiking, fetch and cuddling. He’s a well-adjusted, low-maintenance dog for a family who just wants one dog. He struggles living with other dogs. While he can be around or pass them without reacting, it’s important not to leave him alone with a dog. He’s shy at first with people but warms up quickly and has never bitten or snapped. He’s received 5 years of extensive training, doesn’t have resource guarding towards people or even dogs, trustworthy off-leash (he’ll never run off), and excellent on a leash or harness. He responds promptly to commands on cue (leave it, come, stay, wait, snuggle up, give me the ball, drop it, no more, go to crate, be nice, + more). I love Max, but I know I’m not able to give him the life he deserves with so many dogs in my care. He needs a loving home where he can live without constant restrictions. Please help me find a wonderful family for him.

Story
Despite being a large dog (~55lbs) Moose has proven to be a gentle giant with not a mean bone in his body. The shelter estimated he’s around 2yo, and while we’ve been working on his leash manners, he’s already made wonderful progress. His goofy nature means he sometimes likes to grab his leash during walks to play a little tug-of-war. He’s also learning to sit and is getting better at not jumping, though he still has his playful moments. Moose is affectionate and has a habit of gently mouthing hands when he wants attention. One of Moose’s favorite things in the world is taking long naps, and he’s a champion sleeper, enjoying a full night of rest without causing any trouble. Moose is not bothered by the mailman or people walking by our windows. He’s also fully potty trained! It breaks our hearts that we are unable to keep this wonderful boy. Moose would benefit from a home with space for exercise and playtime. A family or individual who can provide attention and structure.

Story
Kiwi is 1.5 years old and fully cage trained. He knows how to sit, lay down, and stay. He's good on walks, but is very reactive towards other dogs. He is also house trained. He struggles with separation anxiety since I work a lot. I am his first owner and have been with him since the day he was born. I'm trying to find someone who has the time to give him the attention he needs. From my experience, if he is alone for too long and not in his cage with something to occupy him, his anxiety with show a lot. He is the most intelligent dog I have ever experienced. When I would come home from work or school, he would run from the house to my car that was parked a block away and meet me there. Kiwi is very trainable, good company, and needs someone who has more time for him.
