Story
Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. This is something that will need continuous work to be corrected.

Story
2 brothers that need a loving home. Ideally would like to keep them in the same home preferably temporarily until Mid March 2025 or April. Unfortunately I can’t keep them where I am staying and my husband will be in the air force until Mid March and I’m having our first baby in February 2025. Jax (pitbull, 2 years, not microchipped) and Ace (lab mix, 7 months, microchipped) They were raised in an apartment in Arizona so are used to being inside. There’s a backyard where we are staying now and they love it. They are potty trained. Play with themselves a lot. Pretty low matience but can use some training.. they bark at loud noises because they are protective but are extremely friendly with humans and other dogs, especially little ones. Jax is more calm than Ace he’s older. Sometimes they get really excited when someone new comes in the house and may jump and lick. Love sleeping together or with owner. Loves dog parks and walks! The cutest most loving dogs you’ll find!

They say im REALLY sweet, smart, and high in energy. I'm great around kids 12 and up, unsure how patient i can be under that age range but I was found next to a kids park and was super curious about all the children. I can be leash aggressive, but do well with our dogs off leash and when able to be redirected, i'll eventually warm up to other dogs, untested as of yet around cats. I'm potty trained, somewhat command trained (understand spanish more then english) but easily redirectable with signals and firm reinforcements. I'm wary/cautious of people until you spend a little time with me. I have a Lot of energy and I want to go on runs, hikes, and i'm sure I can be guided and learn how to be the goodest of girls.

Story
I found this beautiful Husky roaming around the streets of my town in the SF Bay Area. I kept him in my backyard a few days until his owner could be found. No one came forth and so he went to the county animal shelter where he stayed for a week and then was scheduled to be euthanized. I couldn't let that happen to this sweet, innocent dog so I took him home as a foster. He has been with me for a week and is a very social and friendly dog. He is about 2-3 years old. Since I already have 2 large dogs, I do not have any room for a third, so that is why I would like to find a permanent home for this amazing animal. He is full of LOVE and is very PLAYFUL! He gets along with kids and cats! He is trained and knows to sit and stay. He is friendly and comfortable with new people- men and women alike. He would be great as an only dog in a family that has older kids (10+ years old) who would love to play with him and walk him daily.
