Story
Hello, I'm Gage!My previous owners hoped I'd be a hunting dog, but that wasn't quite my style. Instead, I'm passionate about exploring every scent, serenading everyone with my unique voice, and enjoying all the treats I can get!I do have a strong instinct to chase small animals and livestock, so a home with those might not be the best fit for me. However, I get along well with other dogs and would love to have a furry friend to share my adventures with.If you think I could be a great addition to your family, I'd love to meet you! To start the process, please fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire here: https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 34.8 Age: 7yrs 5mths 2wks

Story
Daisy is a 3 year old Great Pyrenees. She was a working dog but we believe she would prefer a home that she can be more apart of the family. Daisy adores people and loves all the attention she can get. When spending time with staff, she can be found leaning hard and asking for pets. She has lived with another dog companion although she may need slow introductions but does not seem to like cats.If you think Daisy is a good fit for your home, please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire or call the center for more information. 240-509-0297https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: White Weight: 39.7 Age: 3yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Genie is a special needs black and tan medium Shepherd X. This pretty girl didn't grow up around people, so she's never quite gotten over her fear of them. She needs a very structured environment, as she doesn't handle a change in her routine very well. She's also an escape artist, so she’ll need a secure fenced yard. Best case scenario would be a dog door leading out to fenced area, as she will not tolerate a leash of any kind. We’re looking for someone who has had experience with rescue dogs. When she trusts you, she’ll be happy to hang with you and even likes to be petted. She’s comfortable with dogs. If you think you’re the one that can help Genie become the dog that we all know she can be, please give us a call. We’ll also consider a long term foster with someone who is willing to work with her. The PAWS dog volunteers have done an amazing job helping her see that people aren’t as scary as her life experience has taught her. However, this quiet girl deserves to know what it’s like to know that someone is there for her. She’s worth your effort!! Give PAWS a call to meet her.
