Story
Meet Daisy, a 1-year-old female Dachshund mix who's full got lots of energy. If you're looking for a dog who's full of life and always ready for an adventure, Daisy is your girl. She's playful, goofy, and loves to keep you on your toes with her zippy zoomies and boundless enthusiasm. While she may be a little crazy, she's also incredibly loving and loyal. She'll be by your side for cuddles after a good play session, and she's sure to bring a smile to your face with her quirky antics. Daisy is looking for a home that can match her high-energy vibe and give her the exercise and training she craves. She can be reactive towards other animals, so working with an animal kind trainer would be very beneficial. Daisy must be in a home where she is the only animal. If you've got the time and energy to keep up with this little girl, please fill out an application online.Meetings for Daisy will be by appointment only. Please note that due to the high number of applications we won't be able to respond to everyone. Primary Color: Tan Weight: 11.6 Age: 1yrs 3mths 0wks

Meet Joe! Joe the big Gentle Giant was found as a stray pup in Salmon Arm. Sadly, nobody came to pick him up from the shelter, and we have no past history on him.We know lots about him now! Including:-loves frozen kongs and pupsicles-playing fetch and running around his yard-loves all people-going on walks and sniffing all the bushesAs for dogs, he is indifferent to them in his neighbors yards. He tends to mirror other dogs reactions. He will bark if barked at and be chill if the other dog is relaxed. He isn't a fan of cats so no feline brothers or sisters possible. Joe is a big lovable goof! If you feel you could give Joe all he deserves and more, please apply online with the instructions below!Joe #549486Please follow these steps if interested in adoption!1. Story
Meet Zuri! This sweet and spirited young Cane Corso is looking for her forever home! While she may be a bit nervous around strangers, especially men, she quickly warms up once she feels comfortable and safe. With a little patience and understanding, she will be your loyal and loving companion.Zuri is generally great on walks with her people! She likes other dogs, and could go to a home with another friendly canine with proper introductions. She does have some prey-drive towards smaller critters, so is not suitable for a home with cats or other small animals. Zuri can get over-excited in busier areas, and appreciates a more quiet landscape to explore on-leash with her family. Zuri doesn't have high exercise requirements, and is a bit of a couch potato! She is best suited to a slower household, with a more predictable routine. Once Zuri is settled in to a home, she would love nothing more than to nap the day away. She is pretty independent, and has shown that she can be alone in the home without issue. Zuri could be okay spending her afternoons at home while you're at work. This young girl has a lot of potential and will thrive in a patient, loving home where she can build trust and confidence. Zuri is highly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. If you're looking for a sweet and playful companion who will quickly become your most loyal friend, Zuri might just be the perfect fit! Please apply online if interested in adopting sweet Zuri. She has not been shown much love in her life up until now and is looking for her happy future. Please follow these steps if interested in adoption!1. View the animal's profile at adopt.spca.bc.ca 2.  Quick Facts  Name: Deuri Age: 7 years old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Beagle Mix Color: Brown and Black Weight: 16 kg Health History Vaccinations & Preventatives All vaccinations are complete and up to date.   My Story Hello there, future family! My name is Deuri, and I’m a charming and affectionate Beagle mix with a heart full of love. I’m excited to tell you a little about myself and why I think we’d make the perfect team.   Personality I’m a people-lover through and through! I’m always ready to greet new faces with a wagging tail and a happy heart. Whether you’re a close friend or someone I’ve just met, I’ll gladly nuzzle up for some attention. In fact, I’m known to roll over and show my belly as a way of saying, “Let’s be friends!” I’m also great with other dogs. I get along well with dogs of all sizes, but I especially enjoy playing with pups who are around my size or smaller. I haven’t had much experience with cats, but I’m so focused on my walks and my human that I might not even notice them.   On My Walks Walks are one of my favorite activities! I have a high energy level, which means I’m always ready for a good outdoor adventure. Sometimes, I might pull a little on the leash because I’m eager to explore, but I listen well and enjoy following your lead. A good walk or a fun trip to the dog park helps me burn off my energy, and afterward, I’m happy to relax at home with you.   Life at Home At home, I’m a mix of lively and laid-back. I’m just as comfortable running around a yard or park as I am curling up beside you after a day of play. I’m well-versed in both indoor and outdoor potty habits, making me adaptable to different routines. I have a gentle nature when it comes to food—I never guard my meals or treats, whether I’m sharing space with people or other dogs. I do have a charming habit of giving a soft bark when I want to express myself, whether it’s to say hello, ask for a treat, or let you know I’m ready for some playtime.   My Ideal Family I dream of a family that loves the outdoors as much as I do. Whether it’s exploring new trails, playing fetch in the yard, or visiting the local dog park, I’m happiest when I’m active and by your side. Here’s what I’m hoping for in my forever home: Active Companions: A family who enjoys walks, hikes, or other outdoor activities would be perfect for me. Loving Home: I thrive on love and companionship, so a family who’s around often would make me the happiest. Space to Explore: A yard to roam or regular trips to a park would be a dream come true.   Last Message If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy, energy, and plenty of cuddles into your life, I’m your perfect match. Let’s start our adventure together—I can’t wait to meet you! ##2251043##

Quick Facts Name: Mercury Age: 1.5 years old Gender: Female Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 14 kg   All About Me: A Tale of Loyalty, Love, and Charm Hello there! My name is Mercury, and I’m here to share a little bit about myself in hopes of finding my forever family. My journey started as a rescued pup, and now I’m ready to step into a new chapter filled with love and companionship. I’m a Jindo mix with a sleek, white coat and a personality as radiant as my name. I’m a little bundle of joy who’s curious about the world and ready to fill your home with warmth and happiness.   My Personality I’m a people-loving pup who thrives on connection and affection. Whether you’re someone I’ve just met or my closest companion, I’ll greet you with a wagging tail and a bright, happy demeanor. Sometimes I’ll even lean in close or nuzzle up against you—it’s my way of saying, “You’re my favorite person!” If we’re new friends, don’t worry—I’ll warm up quickly. I’ve been known to roll over and show my belly to those who take the time to get to know me. And when I bond with you, I promise it will be a friendship full of loyalty, cuddles, and tail wags. I’m also friendly with other dogs! I love meeting pups my size and making new friends. While high-energy playmates can feel a bit overwhelming at times, I’m happy to enjoy calm, friendly interactions or share a peaceful moment together.   Outdoor Adventures & Energy Levels Ah, the great outdoors—it’s one of my favorite places to be! I enjoy exploring the world during our walks, soaking up all the exciting scents and sights. I walk well on a leash and love staying close to my human, though I sometimes tug a little out of sheer enthusiasm. I have a moderate energy level, which means I’m just as happy on a fun outing as I am relaxing by your side afterward. After a good walk or play session, I’ll settle down for a nice nap, dreaming of all our future adventures.   Life at Home I’m a well-mannered girl who’s adaptable and ready to make your house my home. I’ve mastered both outdoor potty training and indoor pad use, so you can count on me to keep things tidy. My crate manners are impeccable, and I settle down quietly when it’s time for a car ride or a rest. I’m not much of a guarder when it comes to food or toys—I love sharing the good vibes with everyone! My playful, goofy side might come out now and then, reminding you that life is better with a little laughter. Sometimes I like to showcase my Jindo heritage with a bit of independence, but deep down, I’m a lovebug who adores being close to my people.   My Dream Home Here’s what I hope for in my forever family: A Loving Connection: I thrive on companionship and would love a home where I can be close to my humans. A Calm, Nurturing Space: While I’m adaptable, I might need a little time to adjust to new environments. A steady, loving hand will help me settle in beautifully. Adventurous Hearts: I’d be thrilled to join you on walks, hikes, or even just playtime in the yard.   Last Message If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and affectionate companion, I’m your girl. I’ll bring love, joy, and a whole lot of tail wags into your life. Let’s create a lifetime of memories together—I can’t wait to meet you!    Videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU0QLqihEEs&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JycBRq6b2d6YJoZonEz9xRB ##2251983##
