Story
Panda is a high-energy, intelligent boy who is very true to his breed mix-always on the go and ready for action! He thrives when his mind is kept busy and loves puzzles and toys made to challenge him. Panda is the kind of dog who needs constant mental stimulation to stay content, so he'll need an active home with plenty of enrichment to keep him engaged.Panda can be selective with other dogs, so if he were to live with another, he would do best in a home with a tolerant, well-mannered dog who can help him learn proper boundaries. He'd also benefit greatly from working with an AnimalKind trainer to refine his manners and improve his social skills. As a shepherd, Panda has a strong herding instinct, so he wouldn't do well in a home with small children or small pets.If you're ready for a fun, active boy who loves to use his brain and can offer him the time, patience, and structure he needs, Panda might just be your perfect match. Meet Clyde - a big, lovable goofball with a heart full of sweetness! Clyde is the type of dog who will make you laugh with his playful antics and endless energy. He's always up for a game, and his love for toys is unmatched-he plays hard and enjoys every moment!Though Clyde is a playful and fun-loving dog, he does experience some anxiety. To help him thrive, he'd benefit from working with an AnimalKind trainer, who can help him start off on the right paw and build his confidence.Clyde also has a few medical needs that require attention. He has a mild case of happy tail and skin allergies, which means he'll need a specialized diet to keep him feeling his best.If you're looking for a loving, goofy companion who will bring joy into your home, Clyde might be the perfect match for you. With a little patience, care, and training, Clyde will flourish and become the loyal, playful buddy you've been waiting for! Story
Atticus is a big, exuberant boy bursting with love and enthusiasm! This handsome pup came to us from unfortunate circumstances and is so ready to find out what a home filled with love and care looks like. When Atticus first entered our care, he was underweight, and now he loves, loves, loves his food-sometimes a little too much! He's learning to pace himself and would benefit from a feeding routine that supports his healthy weight gain and keeps him happy. At his core, Atticus is a smart and eager-to-please pup, but he doesn't quite realize his size or strength yet. Because of this, he would do best in a home without young children or fragile environments, as he's still figuring out how to play gently and ask for attention politely.Atticus can be selective about other dogs and may prefer to be the only pet in the home. However, with the guidance of an AnimalKind trainer and positive reinforcement, he can continue to build confidence and improve his social skills.Despite his size, Atticus's body can barely contain his boundless enthusiasm and zest for life! With some structured training, consistent boundaries, and a lot of love, Atticus will shine as a loyal, loving companion. If you're ready to give this lovable big guy the forever home he deserves, Atticus can't wait to meet you! Please submit a pre-adoption questionnaire here: https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/*PLEASE NOTE: Atticus is currently awaiting his neuter surgery, so is only available for foster-to-adopt local to the South Okanagan area* Primary Color: Tan Weight: 42.7 Age: 2yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Hey Dayna here!! I am a long term resident, I personally blame all those cute puppies who keep showing up at the shelter and stealing my thunder. I am hoping to get into a home before the holidays and spend Christmas with my new family! Here is my family wish list!1. Provide all the comforts of home. Warm cozy beds, a fenced yard, large selection of squeaky toys, a few rubber chickens, good food and even better treats - in moderation of course. I've been watching my figure so I can fit into those skinny collars.2. Fit and fun. I'm a strong girl who loves a few good walks a day. Nothing crazy - I'm never going to be a marathon runner or a dog park dweller but I do love to explore. I need someone who can keep up and hold on tight when I occasionally have one of those 'start the car' moments. 3.Transportation. I LOVE a good car ride. Sometimes I just sit in the car for fun. I don't even mind waiting if Black Friday sales call you into a real store. 4. Flashlights. I hate to admit it but this girl is kind of scared of the dark. 5. Appreciates personal space rules. I'm just not one of those cuddly, needy girls. Togetherness is the best but a girl needs her space to get her beauty rest and play with toys without interruptions. You do you, I'll do me - in the same space!6. Wants to make me the Star of Show. Call me selfish but I don't want to share my family with any other pets. My foster family says there might be a bit more to that story but I say whatever!! You get the point. A bit about me (aka why I'm so much better than a puppy) • Fully trained - house-trained and you can sleep past 5am, leash trained, no jumping, won't chew and wreck things you love. My foster family says I'm the easiest dog they have ever had. Beat that puppies!!• No separation anxiety. I'm happy to hang out in the house or car until you return and I'm willing to waive the personal space rules for a bit when you get back.• About those 'start the car moments' I mentioned. I'm a strong, excitable kind of girl with a "lack of dog socialization skills." That means I want to meet every dog I see but I don't get the memo if they don't like my approach. Seems like a "them" problem to me but my foster family prefers me to say "It's a work in progress". If Dayna sounds like the right fit for your home, please fill in an application below! https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 36.4 Age: 5yrs 10mths 4wks

Story
Meet Ruckus! Ruckus recently came to us with his mom and siblings, and is now searching for his furever home! He is an adorable ball of energy, ready to be your best friend and adventure pal! Cuddles, snuggles, and playtime are his absolute favourite things! Puppies need lots of attention and a safe environment for them to grow into great pets. Like any baby, Ruckus is constantly learning. He will need help to learn the rules in a new house, things like, what to play with, where to go to the bathroom, where to sleep to name a few. He'll need annual health checks with his veterinarian for the rest of his life to keep him in optimum health. It's also a good idea to research his breed before considering adopting. Raising a puppy is a big commitment but well worth it when you consider they will be a part of your family for many years! If you're ready to welcome Ruckus into your home and hearts, please submit an application for the Shuswap Branch through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.4 Age: 0yrs 0mths 9wks
