ADOPTION ALERT: STUNNING LONG AND LEAN AVAILABLE Meet Freddie - 65lbs of energy, enthusiasm and joy Birthday: Not quite sure but some time in October of 2024 Weight: A looooong and lean 65lbs Currently in Foster in Nelson, BC Who is he? an eager to please, clever goofball, extremely smart, food motivated, playful & enthusiastic, FAST... this boy can run...Loves routine! Skills include: - did we mention he is FAST! He would be GREAT at agility - 10/10 on the cuddle scale - a bit like a house alarm, will bark to alert you (with positive reinforcement he knows to cease when instructed) - 10/10 on bringing joy and enthusiasm to all things in life - plays well with other dogs after proper introduction - loves to learn and work - good with horses, chickens and cats - great in the car and is crate trained for short periods of down time (overnight he prefers his own bed or yours) Work in Progress includes: - can be reactive with new dogs if not introduced properly - shy when meeting new people or dogs - his early life in the shelter has caused him to be wary of strangers but once he knows you, he warms right up - trust is earned with Freddie, not given automatically Ideal home: - ideally with a doggie sibling who will tolerate his playful puppy-ness but could be an only dog as long as he had regular play dates - he loves routine - rural setting away from the hustle and bustle of city life - fenced outdoor space he can safely explore - people who will worship him and make him feel safe and loved - humans with experience with shy dogs who can boost his confidence - a life that offers adventure and allows him to grow into the amazing dog he is becoming - a home willing to continue his raw feeding Medical Flex: - he is healthy, raw fed and has delayed neuter to allow his growth plates to close Freddie’s Dream: Find a human who loves him as much as he loves to run! Someone who will be patient with him as he finds his way and overcomes “stranger danger” and loves to cuddle on the couch.

Story
Meet Jack, your new best friend! 🤩 He's a 3-5 year old Spaniel cross who weighs somewhere between 12-15 pounds, depending on how much gravy-covered meals he's scored that week. 😂 This handsome boy is a certified cuddlebug with a heart full of love and a soundtrack to match. Seriously, he sings with the soul of a Husky trapped in a Spaniel body. Jack is great with other dogs and has been getting the hang of this whole play thing. He adores his foster cats and sometimes needs a gentle reminder to play nice. Teenagers? Big fan. Little kids? He hasn't met many but with his sweet and gentle nature, he'd probably do great. Now let's talk about Jack's biggest passion - walks. Say the W-word and brace yourself....this boy will start crying the moment the harness comes out. It's dramatic, adorable and totally Jack. Once you're out the door, he's a near perfect walker, more focused on sniffing the world than pulling you through it. Jack isn't shy about voicing his opinions, especially when crated. He much prefers the couch, a cozy blanket or better yet, your arms. He loves to be held like a baby and he will flop into your embrace like a soggy noodle. It's his signature move. 😎 Jack is not a fan of being alone so he'd love a home with another dog friend or a human who is around more often than not. When left alone, he'll cry a bit, then curl up for a power nap, likely dreaming about his next walk or gourmet canned dinner (forget the kibble)! Jack is doing well with potty training, especially with regular access to the yard. He's not destructive when alone, just content to watch the world go by or chew on his favourite toys. ☺️ Oh, let's not forget that Jack loves the shower. Invite him in and you've got a furry little spa partner for life! Jack is a sweet, soulful and affectionate boy looking for his forever family. He will shower you with love and laughs daily. Don't wait, apply to meet Jack today! 💙

Story
Casper is best with no small children. Meet Casper 👻🐾 — a 4-month-old Border Collie mix with a playful spirit, a sensitive heart, and the cutest quirky habits! At 26 lb and growing, Casper is a moderate-energy pup who loves to play with other dogs and is learning his boundaries as he goes. He can be a little cautious with new people, but gentle introductions help him warm up nicely. Once he's comfortable? He's your loyal shadow — not a lap dog, but always close by. 💕 Casper is untested with kids and cats, but he's doing great with leash walking once he settles in, and while he may take a few minutes to calm in his crate, he does just fine after that. His favorite hangout spots include playing under the bed or sleeping half-under it like a little cave creature. 🛏️🐶 This smart boy already knows high five and shake a paw — but only with his left paw! 🐾 He's a big fan of toys and beef liver treats, has a soft spot for socks and slippers, and has very strong opinions about vacuums (hard pass 😅). Casper would thrive in a patient, loving home that can keep building his confidence and continue his training. If you're looking for a sweet, slightly goofy companion with just the right mix of brains and charm — Casper might be your guy! 💙🐕

Story
🐾 Meet Lacy! A 7 year old, 13lb terrier mix witha PhD in comfort. Lacy's idea of a perfect day? Sleeping somewhere soft, carpet, blankets, sweaters, your bed (especially your bed). She'll carefully root around until everything is just right, then settle in like a tiny queen She's very affectionate, on her terms of course, and loves chest and face scratches, stop too soon and she'll politely lick you to request more. Lace really enjoys car rides, treats of all kinds (extra points for Peanut Crunch biscuits), and will happily supervise all kitchen activity. She also has a special fondness for dirty laundry, which she considers an excellent chew toy - smelly socks left unattended at their own risk 🧦😅 Lacy walks pretty well on leash but may need a little encouragement around other dogs as she's still building up her confidence. Crate-wise, she's doing well and just needs a few treats and a little reassurance. House training is almost perfect! The very occasional accident but she's learning fast to let you know when she needs to piddle! 🥇 Important notes for her future home: Lacy is sensitive about how she's handled if touched in ways she doesn't like (no butt pats, please). Because of this, she's best suited to an adult-only home with people who understand canine boundaries and body language 🧠🐶 If you're looking for a loyal little companion who bonds deeply with her people, Lacy may just be your girl. She doesn't trust easily, but when she does, you feel it ❤️ She deserves a loving, safe, forever home. Could it be with you? *Lacy is not tested with cats

Good with dogs,
Story
Beauty is a 2-year-old mastiff sweetheart weighing about 55 lbs, with a gentle soul and a thoughtful, observant nature. She appears to do well with other dogs and is great with older kids, though she hasn't been tested with younger children yet. Cats are untested, and she's shown interest in rabbits, so a small-pet–free home may be best. She's a polite leash walker and a very nice sitter, making outings calm and manageable—especially on quiet trail walks, which she prefers 🌲. Beauty does well crated overnight and is housetrained, though she does enjoy chewing and will happily "redecorate" stuffies given the chance 🧸😄 She can be a bit stubborn or wilful at times, but that's all part of her charm. Beauty is low to moderate energy and can be nervous with big arm movements or when she's outside of the house, so she'll thrive with patient, gentle humans who let her build confidence at her own pace. She doesn't care for water (puddles and baths are a hard no 🚫💦) or car rides, but she loves peanut butter, chasing frisbees, and settling in with her people 🥜🐶 If you're looking for a loyal, quirky companion who enjoys peaceful walks and cozy time at home, Beauty might just be your perfect match ✨
