Story
Genie is a special needs black and tan medium Shepherd X. This pretty girl didn't grow up around people, so she's never quite gotten over her fear of them. She needs a very structured environment, as she doesn't handle a change in her routine very well. She's also an escape artist, so she’ll need a secure fenced yard. Best case scenario would be a dog door leading out to fenced area, as she will not tolerate a leash of any kind. We’re looking for someone who has had experience with rescue dogs. When she trusts you, she’ll be happy to hang with you and even likes to be petted. She’s comfortable with dogs. If you think you’re the one that can help Genie become the dog that we all know she can be, please give us a call. We’ll also consider a long term foster with someone who is willing to work with her. The PAWS dog volunteers have done an amazing job helping her see that people aren’t as scary as her life experience has taught her. However, this quiet girl deserves to know what it’s like to know that someone is there for her. She’s worth your effort!! Give PAWS a call to meet her.

Story
Bruiser is a very friendly male Bull/Boxer X. He's brindle with white markings. A beautiful dog, Bruiser is about 8 yrs old. We're working on his lead training & he knows his basic commands. Not much is known about his background but we can confidently say that he's a sweet boy that loves attention. We feel that he may do best as an only pet as he can be dog aggressive. As he is a senior, his adoption fee is reduced.

Story
Meet Buster. We don't know anything about his background as he was a stray that wasn't claimed. We haven't even guessed his breed. What we can tell you is that he's a very friendly boy. He loves to play and hang out with our volunteers. He's good on lead and is working hard on his manners and learning his basic commands. We believe he is fairly young (18 months?). He would do great in a busy household. He's been neutered and vaccinated.

Story
Chance is a 14-month-old Great Dane X. This young boy can be very affectionate once he gets to know you. Being a pup he is energetic. He's kennel trained, and loves his toys and snuggles. Chance is not keen on farm birds but with proper introductions, he's good with some dogs. He's working hard on his recall training and re-enforcement of current training. Chance would benefit from a single pet home that can give him the attention a young pup needs. Please call us to meet this nice boy.

Story
Ratso is a true mixed breed. At 1.5 years old, he has some Golden retriever some Mastiff, some Pointer and some German Shepherd in him. He'd be interesting to do a doggie DNA test on! This affectionate, very friendly boy has lived a sheltered life and is a bit unsure of new things and sounds. He loves attention and never turns down a cuddle. He's a muscular lad at 60 pounds. He is eager to please and has been working hard learning his basic commands. We have been working with him on his leash walks. He has been around kids. He's always been in a secure yard. PAWS had him vaccinated and neutered, so he's ready for his new home.
