Hello future friends! 🐾My name is Pretzel, and I'm looking for my furever family! I'm a Samoyed mix with a big heart and lots of love to give. I'm a good girl-I know lots of commands and even use a doggy doorbell to let you know when I need to go outside for potty breaks. Pretty smart, right? I get along with most dogs I meet and would love a well matched dog friend to play with. However, I don't understand why I can't chase cats around the house so ideally, I would do best in a home with no small animals. My previous family couldn't give me the attention and time I need. I'm still young which means I have lots of puppy energy and need walks, playtime, and mental enrichment to help me be my best self. I love being outdoors and exploring! A fully fenced and secure yard would be my preference, as I love to zoom around! I would need to be supervised for yard time though, as I love digging. I also LOVE to chew things! So providing me with lots of opportunity to play with toys, chew things in a controlled setting and lots of enrichment is a must otherwise I might chew on something I am not suppose too out of boredom.I can feel anxious sometimes, especially with loud sounds or meeting new people, but I'm working on it. My life has been a little topsy-turvy lately, and I just need time and patience to feel safe again. My forever family will need to help me with my confidence and trust building.
