Story
Have you ever had a friend who is just sooo easy to have around that you want them to move in and stay furever? Dayna will be that kind of friend!! Dayna is a loving dog who enjoys the company of all people. Her favourite activities are going on walks, swimming and exploring her yard. She is an excellent companion for all sorts of activities and if there is a car ride involved, she is first to jump in! Her strange hobby is silencing rubber toy chickens, which is fun for her but also amusing for the people around her to watch!Dayna is the award winner for most socially awkward! Despite her enthusiasm, she doesn't understand how to properly interact with other dogs. Dayna's foster family describes it as other dogs being her kryptonite, she wants to meet every dog she sees and typically she goes in too hot making the other dog nervous of her awkwardness. If Dayna sounds like the right fit for your home, please fill in an application below! https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 36.4 Age: 5yrs 9mths 4wks

Story
Mini came to us through our Animal Protection Department with some of her siblings. Her world was quite limited before coming into our care, so she's still adjusting to new experiences. Despite her initial nerves, Mini warms up quickly, especially when treats are involved.Puppies need lots of attention and a safe environment for them to grow into great pets. Like any baby, Mini is constantly learning. She will need help to learn the rules in a new house, things like, what to play with, where to go to the bathroom, where to sleep to name a few. She'll need annual health checks with her veterinarian for the rest of her life to keep her in optimum health. Raising a puppy is a big commitment but well worth it when you consider they will be a part of your family for many years.Adopting Mini means gaining a friend who will always be there to share in life's simple pleasures, a friend who will bring love, warmth, and happiness into your home. If Mini sounds like the right fit for your home, please fill out an application from the Shuswap branch below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.7 Age: 0yrs 3mths 3wks

Story
Beauty came to us through our Animal Protection Department alongside a few other dogs. Before arriving in our care, her world was pretty small, so she's still a bit nervous with new experiences. But she is determined to shake off her jitters and is working hard every day to be braver. With the help of her favorite treat hot dogs, she's making great progress in her exposure training!Beauty bonds deeply once she gets to know you, becoming a loyal shadow who adores her people. She's a playful and wiggly girl and has recently discovered the joy of toys, often bringing them over to show off. She has also really become quite fond of giving hugs and kisses to her most favorite people! As she continues to build confidence, we know she'll become a fantastic walking companion and adventure buddy.Beauty has so much potential and just needs a loving, patient family to help her blossom into the wonderful, well-rounded dog we know she can be. If you're ready for a loyal, fun-loving companion, Beauty might just be your perfect match! Story
Billy is a handsome, shy guy who came to us through our Animal Protection Department. His world was quite limited before coming into our care, so he's still adjusting to new experiences. Despite his initial nerves, Billy is the most brave of the group. He warms up quickly, especially when treats are involved.Billy is a playful and goofy boy who's recently discovered the joy of toys. He loves showing off his finds, and is learning to play fetch now too. Once he gains a bit more confidence on a leash, we know he'll be an excellent walking buddy, ready to enjoy adventures with his trusted humans.Billy would thrive in a quiet home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace.
