Story
Penny is a timid girl who needs time to bloom into her loving and silly self. She plays great with her yard buddies, and she prefers male dogs. While she is timid at first with people, she opens up into the sweetest girl when she knows she is safe! She just needs someone gentle and patient. She is great on and off leash and loves being outside when it’s sunny. But on rainy days she’d prefer to have a movie day. Penny is gentle and would do good in just about any family, as long as she has time to come around!

Catahoula Leopard Dog

Male, Adult
Wynne, AR
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We believe Ric could be a pure bred Catahoula Leopard Dog! And words used to describe the breed describe sweet Ric perfectly: inquisitive, intelligent, energetic, gentle, independent and LOVING. Ric is highly food motivated and is willing to learn anything quickly for a treat! He’s good on a leash, and due to his hound nature would do best with a fenced in yard— he can be a wanderer. He surprisingly passed our cat test with flying colors! He was so gentle and even submissive to the grown cat and 5 kittens we have. Though he is extremely gentle, he could use some manners! He may be prone to counter surfing if he ever got the opportunity, but with work he’d make an amazing house dog! He’s great with every person he meets, and every dog so far. Since he’s a hound, he may would chase pocket pets, as it’s his nature. Ric would make a great running partner, couch potato… really he’d fit into any family as long as he gets love!

Story
Spartan came to us after his previous shelter has burned down. We can only guess what breed mix he is, though he appears to have APBT and staffy in him. He is great with other dogs and new people, and he’d thrive in any family! He loves being outside and going on adventures. He’s a playful and lively dog, but when it’s time to settle down he’s the best cuddle buddy! Spartan is very smart and is highly food motivated. He will make the best addition to a loving family. Cody was bottle raised by a staff member. She is small but mighty! She loves hikes and does amazing outside of the shelter environment. She is territorial of her yard. She loves playing with her yard mate and being outside! She is stubborn and can be difficult to train, but her sweetness makes up for it! Cody is very affectionate. She’d do best in a dog experienced home with older children!

Story
Randall is a very smart guy with an attitude. He is super silly, and is great to work with— he’d do amazing obedience work! However, he can be weary of people when he first meets them. His trust can be gained through treats and quality time! He’s great on and off leash, and loves going on adventures. But he loves to stay in and cuddle when it’s cold and rainy out! Randall needs a dog experienced home who will give him time to warm up and know he’s safe!
