Story
. Ideal Home: She would thrive in a single-person household where she can be someone’s devoted companion or on a farm where she has space to roam and explore. Personality: Our girl is incredibly loyal and protective, making her an excellent guard dog. She adores cuddles and will happily sit on your lap, showering you with affection. She’s also potty trained, so no worries there! Interactions with Other Pets: While she’s unsure about other dogs, she might adapt well with proper introductions and patience. Concerns: Recently, she’s been showing signs of aggression towards our new baby, which has prompted our decision to find her a new home. Although she’s never bitten anyone, want to ensure her safety and that of our little one. Requirements: She needs a patient owner who understands her fear of strangers and is willing to work with her on socialization. Her separation anxiety means she’s best suited for a household where she won’t be left alone for extended periods.

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
This is Tilly (Chantilly), She is about a 2yo heeler mix. We adopted her from our local shelter in December, and she did well for about a month before we started having significant issues with one of our other dogs. She is very energetic and active, and would do well with someone who is very active (runner or cyclist) or who can otherwise give her a good outlet. Her best situation for now would probably be as an only dog, or with only dogs around her own age and size. I would recommend no other small animals or any reactive animals. Not sure about cats, since we dont have one, but she seems a bit too uncomfortably interested in our rabbit... Tilly is very gentle with treats, and overall great with humans, including kids. She will probably do better with older kids, because she does need ongoing training not to jump. We are working on calming techniques and general training.

Story
I first adopted Tango about 2 months ago at the Best Friends adoption event. He has since been such an energetic, loving companion. I wish with my whole heart that I could keep him but I have found that my schedule and the schedule of my family leaves him home alone more often than I would like. He deserves a loving family who has the time to give him a proper home.
