Story
Joe is our charming 5-year old Shepherd mix with a sturdy 75 lb frame that has been a beloved resident of our shelter since 2018. While we adore having him here, we know he’s past ready for a forever home where he can truly thrive. This strong and handsome boy is particular about the company he keeps, so he's seeking an experienced owner who understands his unique personality. Joe is incredibly protective of his people and will be a devoted guardian of your home. He dreams of a large safe outdoor area where he can roam freely, sniff out new adventures, and enjoy the great outdoors. While Joe loves spending time outside, he also has a soft spot for some indoor TLC, especially if it includes being petted and getting plenty of treats. Joe might be selective about his friends, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll have a faithful companion for life. If you have the perfect home for Joe and are ready to welcome this wonderful boy into your life, come meet him today. Make this finally Joe’s year to go home! Joe’s adoption fee is $50 and includes first shots, worming, and sterilization. Optional microchipping and registration is available for an additional $20.00. Please fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.

Story
Hi There! I’m Ben, a handsome 2 ½ year old Shepherd mix looking for a special person to be my best buddy. I was found as a 6 month old stray puppy and have been at the shelter way too long. I am a really playful and fun loving dog. Playing with people is so much fun! Going on walks would be a dream come true. I was told that I'm very good on a leash. I require daily medication for my shiny coat, but it’s not a big hassle. Please make my dreams come true and pick me for your best bud! I need you! My adoption fee is reduced and this includes my sterilization, shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $15.00. We have a dog park to try out possible siblings before taking me home. Fill out an adoption application at https://www.heberspringshumanesociety.com/ A volunteer will contact you for a meet and greet appointment.

If you are that person, please fill out the application and let’s start a rewarding relationship together. I will love you forever! My adoption fee is $100.00 and this includes my sterilization, shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $15.00.
