Story
Meet Penny! She was adopted from a shelter in Colorado and brought to Arizona for my grandma, but her energy level was too much, so we decided to keep her. We’ve had her for four months now. She is sweet and playful, but her age is unclear. The shelter estimated her to be around 2 years old because of missing canine teeth, but no new teeth have grown, so she could be a puppy or just untrained. She’s very active, loves car rides, and chews on outdoor things like sticks and toys (but not anything important). She’s mastered the commands “drop it” and “leave it.” We’re unsure of her breed, but think she may be part heeler or collie because she likes to herd the kids in the yard. She’s crate trained at night, but sometimes sleeps with my daughter. Penny would do best in a home with time, energy, and resources for training, as she’s a fast learner. She needs a lot of activity and would benefit from a yard. She gets along with dogs and cats and would probably enjoy having a dog companion.

Story
Sasha was found wandering our parents neighborhood. She was in need of water and food which we gave her at the edge of the property. She was very sweet and did not want to leave the property. We couldn't take her in because there was already too many dogs at the property. But after a while she just kept coming back and following us around. We noticed she was owned at one point so we attempted to find her owners with local ads and posts on offer up. After a month of no one claiming her we took her in with another dog she had acquainted. We live in a condo and the hardest part for her is not having a backyard. She loves to run and play, which makes the condo hard for her and she becomes restless. She would do well with kids or an older person who would want a companion. She is very loyal. We don't WANT to give her up but it's in her best interest to go somewhere with a backyard or somewhere to be outside.

Story
This is our miracle girl Jazzy and she is ready to find the perfect family. Jazzy came to M.A.I.N. after a toddler fell on her breaking both of Jazzy’s back legs. After veterinary treatment, a cast and a miracle (keeping her leg) our girl is ready for a family. Jazzy is still a puppy at 7 months old. She’s a Maltese breed. She has some puppy behaviors like stealing shoes, being a bit pushy, and having a lack of boundaries; she just needs some manners. But this girl is the sweetest. She wants to play and is great with other dogs. Having another dog in the house to play with would be terrific but not necessary. If there are children in the home, they should be older and dog savvy. Jazzy will need to see a groomer on a regular basis. If you’re interested in adoption or have questions about Jazzy, please fill out our adoption application or email us at: medicalanimalsinneed@gmail.com. #MAINsaves #MAIN #rescue #foster #adopt #volunteer #donate #bethechange #love #fosterssavelives #TogetherWeSaveLives #ThisIsRealRescue #SeeTheDifference

Meet Loki The Sweet, Energetic Pup Ready for His Forever Home! Loki is a lovable, high-energy puppy who will steal your heart with his playful personality and adorable face. He’s always up for a game of fetch, a good run, or any activity that gets him moving! Lokis affectionate and friendly nature makes him a magnet for love, and he thrives on attention and companionship. We adopted Loki after a friend found him dehydrated and in need of a home. While he’s brought so much joy to our lives, his playful energy hasn’t been the best match for our older male dog. So, with heavy hearts, we’re seeking a new home where Loki can thrive with a family that has the time, energy, and love to match his vibrant spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet, active companion who will bring endless fun and love into your life, Loki might be the perfect fit for you. Please reach out to learn more about this wonderful pup!

Story
Perfect little guy for a stay at home couple or family! I have a new job that will require me to travel extensively after the 1st of the year and I cannot take him with me. He is about 8 or 9 years old and loves to snuggle and just be around his humans. He loves to travel in the car, never ever makes ANY messes in the house. All of his shots are up to date. he NEVER BARKS (except when he sees a cat!) It really, really breaks my heart that I have to get rid of him, but my wife passed away and it's just me. If you need a PERFECT companion BoBo is wonderful. He is smallish, about 30lbs. Loves to sleep at your feet, or really anywhere you would like. Low energy, just a very chill little guy. But he does not like cats. Please contact me if you need a great friend. He needs to be groomed so I'll offer $200 for the initial grooming.

DOB: 2/11/2022 Breed: Irish terrier mixNeutered Male ~ 50 lbs.~Microchipped & fully vaccinated. Negative for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, and on a monthly preventativeAdoption Fee $350A little bit about me…Hello, I’m Alfred, nice to meet you all. I am a big boy who has a lot to learn about the world and what my place is in it. I came from an under socialized situation, but since being at the shelter, I have come out of my shell and started learning the way of the dog. I have a few quirks I have developed in my life, one being my affinity of booping my peoples faces and generally being spatially rude, but with a little work you can help me correct these tokens of affection into more appropriate and less startling gestures. I may be a little much for young children since I have not had much experience with them, but I have showed signs of being an amazing family dog with the right training and guidance. The highlights… Very friendly with lots of different dogs A little weird, and a booping fiend I am very active and can benefit from lots of exercise. Will want to cuddle and roll around with youMy ideal home would include… A family that has time, patience, and a plan for training. I’m a bit behind the curve on basics. I am young and active, so I am looking for someone who has time to dedicate to exercising me as well as providing me with mental stimulation. I am a friendly guy looking for a home that understands my quirks and wants to help me learn new behaviors!
