Labrador Retriever Pit Bull Terrier

Willcox, AZ
Size

Details
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
This young man is sweet, confident and very friendly and playful and has plenty of energy to become your hiking partner (however he is not yet leash trained).  He does enjoy playing, however, he came from a home where he was never really played with by another human, so he is still learning how to do that.  That does not translate to aggression, it translates to being shy and unsure of toys.  His entire litter is very fearful of running water and will run and cower from the hose spray - but will then play in a kiddie pool or take a bath if the water is already in the vessel before they get in it.     He has the cutest little fluffy of fur at the base of his ears that just melts you!  He does tend to get a little greedy with treats such as "pork chomps" or the like that are meant to chew and enjoy - he will try to steal from his fur-mates and would need supervision with that until it is clear that the pecking order has been established and that everyone is playing fair.  He is not overly aggressive about it, but does have resource guarding tendencies.   If you are interested in adopting this young man please feel free to submit an adoption application at this link - https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/37454/generic or check our event calendar on our website murphyslawrescue.org and come meet him at one of our many adoption event locations. ##2053545##

Story
This is Asa. Needing to find a better fitted situation for him! He is a great dog but doesn't get along with my current dog because he simply wants to be the only dog. Not violent or aggressive. Barely barks or breaks items. Looking for a home where he can be the only dog or be better fitted with the other dogs. He is a german Shepard, doberman mix (I think). He will thrive on lots of attention, training, and exercise!
