Story
Hi! My name is Ruger, and I am a spunky, handsome, 4 year old, good doberboy looking for my furever family. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home with my family, a good meal, a warm bed and all the love I can get! If you are looking for a velcro Doberman, then look no further because this hunk of love likes to be right by your side. I am learning all about what it’s like to live in a nice warm (or cool in AZ) house. I enjoy the occasional bark at noises in the yard or things in the street, but it’s not excessive. I love to run in the yard and play with all of my toys. I especially love soccer balls! I am learning to be a good boy on a leash and love my weekly, medicated bath. I even jump in the bath tub all by myself. I will need someone who will be willing to continue my treatment for valley fever and give me a weekly bath (my fur was all gone but is slowly growing in). I like cats a little too much so I need to be in a cat free home. I need people who respect my space and I'm not sure I'd like tiny humans too much. I love my 12 year old human brother because he knows how to love me just the way I like it. I kind of like to be the boss of the other dogs so a slow intro is a must if I'm going to be around other dogs. I do get along well with my current doberbrother most of the time. I have been fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, and I'm ready to find my forever home. I know the perfect family is out there for me and I will patiently wait for you to find me. If you think I'm the one for you, please go to lovethemALLrescue.org/ruger to learn more and apply to adopt. I can't wait to meet you!

Story
Leia has quite the story in just her first year and a half of life... Leia was one of 50 dogs removed from a major hoarding situation. One of our volunteers was on scene and lucky enough to have Leia and her brother Luke leashed and secured. She knew right away that these two dogs needed us and we needed them! Leia had to overcome two huge obstacles very quickly because her leg was severely broken. First, she had to get semi-used to being handled to get to the vet and two, she had to go through having her leg amputated. Leia was semi-feral which means that she was mostly born in the wild and never touched but was around humans as she had people to feed her and the others. Our surgeon thought he would be able to repair her broken leg, but the break was almost four months old, and Leia had already become accustomed to using three legs. We knew we had made the best decision because the morning after surgery, Leia woke up and ran outside to be around her friends! After recovery and spending time with a fear dog specialist, Leia was off to a foster home. This is where the real magic happened! With the help of her foster mom and dad and 3 fur foster siblings, Leia has become a real dog. She does take time to trust, but once she does she is a very sweet, loving and silly girl who will twirl in toys around in the air. She loves to go for walks, chew on bones, play with her foster siblings and soak up the sun in her yard. Treats and snacks are hands down her favorite though! Leia has such a silly little personality, and it has been such a joy to see her sparkle start to shine. Leia would love a home to call her own with a big backyard and other fur siblings that are calm players. We would suggest no small children, teenagers or older since Leia takes time to warm up to people. Leia does best with a consistent routine. She loves to lay at her foster mom’s feet during work and follow her around the house. One of Leia’s favorite things to do is climb in bed with her foster mom and get ear and belly scratches first thing in the morning! She gets excited and vocal when the humans come home after being away. Once you earn Leia’s trust you will have a best buddy for life! Leia is up for adventures outside of the home and would be a great companion to add to your pack. Leia's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams. vaccines, microchip, and spay. We are all here to help ensure Leia is as successful as she can be. She's been through so much already, and we just know her happily every after is out there for her. Her soulful eyes and her silly little personality will have you head over heels in no time! To apply to adopt: https://lovethemallrescue.org/leia

Story
At just a year old, Ashley was sadly surrendered to the county shelter when the cute “puppy-phase” was over, and they "didn't have time for her". Scared, confused, and beyond nervous in such a stressful environment, Ashley was placed on the euthanasia list for her fearful kennel behavior and lack of proper socialization. We took her in knowing this beautiful girl deserved a chance to learn that this world doesn't have to be so scary after all. Ashley turned a corner with us, and her personality began to blossom. We put her with our trainer to work on basic obedience, socialization and confidence. Her achievements in training have been amazing! She has been out socializing with people (and dogs) in public places. She is learning how to properly play, and she has learned commands such as “sit”, “stay”, “place”, “lay” and “leave it”. Ashley isn’t just a beauty, she’s got brains too! Ashley is now ready for a home -- the most perfect home for her. We are looking for adopters who can give her the structure, routine, activity and adventure she needs to continue to blossom and grow. She would love to have another fur friend to play with, and we are recommending a home with no children. Ashley would do best in a calm, consistent household committed to continuing her training and socialization. Ashley's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip, spay and completed obedience training. We will also include a session with our trainer so her new family can learn all of her commands. Apply here to come meet Ashley: https://lovethemallrescue.org/ashley We can pretty much guarantee you'll fall head over heels in no time!

Story
Penny came to us from the euthanasia list at the county shelter. She weighed a severely overweight 110 lbs and suffered from chronic eye issues. She was going to be euthanized for her medical needs. She was a volunteer favorite at the shelter, and what was more than clear to all of us was that this precious girl had simply never been given the chance to live the life she deserved. Since coming into our care, Penny has lost over 45 lbs and is looking better than we could have ever imagined. She has transformed into the type of dog who would fill her perfect home with all the love in the world. She loooves to play, adores her toys, has learned impressive obedience commands [and impulse control!], and she really is something special. Given her size and strength, Penny would do best with a person or family who can keep up her obedience work at home so she can continue to be her very best self and get in all the walks and activity that she needs. And speaking of home, she would love to be your one and only fur baby, and she made me promise to tell you that a yard for her would be a dream come true. Penny's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, bloodwork, vaccines, microchip and spay. With her in it, we can promise your home won't feel empty again, and she is sure to steal your heart 100 times over...guaranteed! To meet Penny, apply here https://lovethemallrescue.org/penny. She is sure to steal your heart 100 times over.

Story
Back in March, we received a request to help a dog who had been roaming a trailer park after his family left him behind more than two years ago. For the last two years, Buddy lived outside through the hot summer months and cold winter nights. People in the neighborhood would take turns feeding him, but never did anyone welcome him into their family or their home. When we went to meet Buddy to see how we could help, it was obvious that life outdoors and poor nutrition was taking a toll on his body. Buddy had calloused elbows, patches of missing fur, itchy skin, and painful, infected eyes. He had become fearful of strangers or anyone trying to contain him with a leash. This boy needed help in a really big way. Without being able to be leashed, Buddy had to be carefully and strategically trapped so we could take him in to safety. After a month's worth of attempts, combined with loads of patience, Buddy was finally contained in the large 4x6 kennel our team had setup. He was finally safe and in our care. He was taken immediately to our vet for the medical treatment he so desperately needed. Since welcoming him into the rescue, Buddy has amazed all of us with how well he has adapted to his new “rescued” life. We are in awe of how healthy he has become and how great he is finally feeling. His coat is shiny, his eyes look clear, and he loves indoor living with a comfy bed and air conditioning. AND...Buddy now loves going for walks on a leash! Buddy is kind, gentle, loving and the sweetest old soul. He is now ready to find his perfect forever home --one where he can be treated like the prince that he is! Buddy is easy going and chill. He likes other dogs that match his personality and prefers older children, 12+. His adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. If you're looking for an all-around good ol' boy, apply to meet Buddy today. His sweet spirit will melt you in no time. To apply to adopt: https://lovethemallrescue.org/buddy

Story
When we imagine the life of a senior dog; it would look like several cozy places to lay, the finest foods and meds to help support an aging body, daily walks, car rides to your favorite places and endless amounts of love; like a lot of love. Unfortunately for Baxter, at 9 years old, he found himself in an overcrowded shelter, on a concrete floor and with an injury and skin/coat issues. We were absolutely crushed when we learned that the only way for Baxter to walk out of the shelter alive is if he had a rescue to back him. Not only did our rescue back him; we promised him the life he has always deserved! Baxter has been an amazing dog to rehab. His wounds have healed, his skin and coat are soft and shiny, and he has put on healthy weight! We have learned that Baxter’s love language is food and for that reason feel that a home with no children or older children 16+ would be best. Baxter is very tall and strong and would prefer a family that is not intimidated by that because underneath that big body is one of the sweetest hearts you will ever meet. He really enjoys being around his people, rides great in the car, walks well on a leash and is a social butterfly. Baxter hasn’t spent too much time around other dogs in our care but from what we have seen, he would do well as the only dog or with other dogs that do not want to play or jump on him. He enjoys keeping to himself and playing with his favorite toys! We hope you are ready to meet this gentle giant and give him what he most deserves...A HOME! Baxter’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip and neuter. Apply today to meet his handsome man! https://lovethemallrescue.org/baxter
