Story
I have to re home her due to severe allergies. She is 5years old. She was raised with cats and is very gentle with them. She has not been properly socialized with dogs. She loves all people and does not bark but likes to talk. She is extremely friendly and well behaved. She has never been destructive or damaged anything in my home she has been potty trained since she was a puppy. She is used to her dog door,a large yard, hikes and regular walks. She sheds her coat twice a year. We consider her a member of our family and are devastated that we have to rehome her because of my health. We are open to transitioning her and even taking her back if it does not work out.

Story
Hi there, my name is Comet and I am a one-year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. My white hair and red freckles make me quite the handsome fella! And I`ve always got a smile on my face!I was surrendered to the shelter as a tiny 3-month-old puppy with my two siblings, and we were all lucky enough to be adopted. Sadly, I was returned to the shelter a few months later due to landlord issues, as I grew too big for my apartment. So now I am patiently waiting for my true forever family to come and adopt me again, and I have faith this will happen. I am house trained and very smart. I hope you`re ready for some playtime and teaching me new tricks! I love being active and going on adventures, but I also have a quiet and affectionate side once I am done exercising. My favorite thing is to be your best friend and and go on hikes and walks with you. I would love to meet any dogs you may already have before going home with them. So bring your family and other dogs to have a meet and greet with me. I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!!If you`re looking for a devoted and happy companion who will fill your days with love and laughter, I am your guy! Come meet me and see for yourself just how special I am. I can`t wait to find my perfect match and be part of a loving family. Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet me, love Comet. phone 928-282-4679

`Meet Diesel - The Sweet Shy Guy Looking for a Patient Home`Hello there, my name is Diesel and I am a young male Dachshund mix. I may be small, weighing only 18lbs, but I have a big heart that is just waiting to find its forever home.I came from a difficult background in a hoarding case, but I am ready to leave all that behind and start a new chapter of my life. My ideal home would be one with patient and understanding humans, without any children or loud noises. I may seem like a loner at first, but I just need some time to learn to trust people and come out of my shell. I am a curious and independent pup, but I also have a quiet and shy side that I am hoping to overcome with the right person by my side.Physically, I have been described as a cute and handsome boy with a solid build. My activity level is laid back, so I won`t need a lot of exercise, but I would love to have a companion animal in my new home. I get along well with other dogs and I prefer the company of adults, but if you have any potential doggy siblings, we should definitely meet first.I do have some special needs when it comes to behavior, so I am looking for someone who is willing to be patient and understanding as I learn to trust and love again. But I promise, once I open up, I will show you just how much love I have to give.If you`re interested in meeting me, please come by and say hello. I am a bit shy, but I am longing for a loving home and I know I will make a wonderful companion for someone. Thank you for considering me. I can`t wait to meet you. I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!.Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679

Story
Hiya! I`m Nala. I am an a strong, intelligent lady but really I need a partner-in-crime in life. I am 1 ½ years old and really coming into my stride and who I am to be in this world. Smart? Very. Motivated? AlwaysLooking for that special someone in my life who can match my smarts and speed? YesMy friends at HSS tell me that I sit like a dream, take treats nice and gentle and am very eager to please. In this AZ heat, I`ve found that I LOVE the pool!! My signature move is where I scoop up all the water in my mouth in a circle. Just like creating my own whirlpool! I think I would do well with an active family who loves to take walks, hikes and of course, go swimming! I have a history of being pretty selective with other dogs, but I am barely bothered if I am learning, training, and you`re holding a worthwhile treat for me; only you will exist in my world then. Not much is known about my life before now but that is all in the past, onward and upward! Come and meet me and see for yourself that I am going to be you`re main squeeze this summer and forever. If you are interested in me, please give my friends at The Humane Society of Sedona a call. My adoption fee was paid by a nice man, so I`m ready for my new family to come visit me! I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679.
