I have 21 year-old Chihuahuas and a senior Chiweenie. I have to move back in with my parents so I need to rehome them. I am starting with Finnegan first. He is a very sweet boy who goes on pee pads while I’m at work and also goes outdoors loves to run around and play a lot. Very affectionate. It is a bit jealous of his Chihuahua, brother and fights for attention. They play really hard and have a lot of energy so an experience Chihuahua owner would be best. He loves his bones to chew on and loves to play with stuffy’s.Might be best in a home being the only dog. He is due for his shots in December and is not chipped. Would need to be neutered. I hate to give him up as he is a sweetheart, but I cannot bring them all back to my parents as my mom is allergic. Looking for a home where they could spend a lot of time being with him. Adoption fee is negotiable.

I rescued her from shelter about 11 months ago and was working from home. Now I've been called back to office and she isn't adjusting well at all. She needs to be with a stay at home person, due to her separation anxiety. She is a very loving girl once she gets use to you and you become her person. She also needs to have a fenced yard as well. My heart is breaking to let her go.

Story

Ozzy is a very large, beautiful 2 1/2 YO who does not realize how big she is at times. She is a playful girl who needs room to run and burn off some of her energy. I have developed some serious health problems after I adopted this beautiful girl and am no longer able to give her the attention and exercise that she needs. Ozzy was a stray I rescued from a shelter last New Year's Eve. She is a very loving and affectionate girl who loves to cuddle and would love to be a lap dog if you let her. Ozzy was sent for 2-week Off-Leash K-9 Training in January 2025 and is e-collar trained. Ozzy listens well and understands commands without the e-collar being used. We have worked very hard on manners and Ozzy has learned to become non-reactive to other dogs, she will sit on command while other dogs pass by on a walk. She is a very good dog and is not a nuisance when in public. She is a very good companion, and it breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but she deserves more than I can give her now.

This super-smart girl is kennel trained, potty trained, and good with small animals – including cats! Mia is good with most dogs (after a slow intro), but large dogs and high-energy dogs will not make great long-term companions. The dog park scene is much too chaotic for Mia, and she much prefers quietly lounging in her own private backyard. Yard time is a must for this sunbathing queen! At the end of the day (or whenever you’re away), Mia prefers the peace and comfort of her kennel. The structure of kennel-time helps settle Mia’s mind when she’s alone. Mia thrives in a structured environment where she knows exactly what to expect. We don’t know much about Mia’s past, but it’s clear she was abused and came to us with trust issues. The cool thing about Mia is that she wants to trust and looks to her people for guidance in situations that make her uncomfortable. She is very handler-motivated and excellent at listening to verbal cues. This special girl could use an exceptional dog owner who understands dog communication, is adept at recognizing their body language, and is comfortable advocating for her personal space. Max is a sensitive, low-key guy who wants a calm home and a person he can bond with deeply. He’s not a social dog and doesn’t enjoy busy environments, high activity, or a lot of new interactions — he’s happiest with his person, his routines, and a peaceful space where he can just exist comfortably. Max would prefer to be the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for himself. But in his current foster home, he has been learning how to live with other dogs and is becoming increasingly respectful. His quick or unexpected movements can make other dogs unsure of him, but he truly just wants calm, predictable companionship and a comfy place to sleep. Max is crate trained, potty trained, and enjoys walks, though he takes the world in at his own pace. In the car, he rides best when he’s in a kennel — otherwise he likes to wander the cabin, which isn’t ideal for safety. Give him a secure spot, and he settles in just fine. His foster describes him as sweet, goofy, and incredibly loyal.
