Story
Dixie Lee will make a great pet for an active family or as a farm or ranch dog. She needs to have regular activity that I am no longer able to provide. She plays well with my other dog. I have had her since she was a 6 week old puppy when she was purchased from a breeder. She is now 2 years and 5 months old and weighs about 35 pounds. She is a spayed female, microchipped and current on all shots. Dixie Lee is very playful and loving. I simply want to find a good, loving home for her that is appropriate to her traits.

Story
Bea is a stunning young Cattle Dog mix with the most beautiful eyes and long legs to match. Recently celebrating her first birthday at the ranch, Bea has been blossoming under the care of her loving foster family. While she was timid and insecure at first, she is slowly coming out of her shell and showing her true personality. Bea is a smart and eager-to-learn pup who thrives on positive reinforcement and new experiences. She has grown to love her long morning walks and has mastered walking on a leash without pulling. She's learned that people and bicycles on the trail aren't so scary after all. Though she is selective with her human and animal friends, once she feels secure, she quickly warms up and makes friends. Bea is house-trained and has learned to use a doggie door for her bathroom needs. She's also crate-trained and sleeps in her crate at night, using it for naps during the day as well. Bea isn't a nuisance barker; she simply alerts you when a stranger or visitor is at the door and stops once she knows everything is okay. Bea needs a secure yard where she can do her business and enjoy her zoomies. She would benefit greatly from having another younger dog as a playmate. Bea is great with other dogs after a proper introduction. She would make a wonderful addition to any family that can provide her with a bit more training and plenty of love and patience. Bea's new family should be willing to continue her training to help her reach her full potential. If you're ready to give Bea the loving forever home she deserves, please fill out an adoption application. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this beautiful and smart pup into your life. Adopt Bea today and watch her thrive as a beloved member of your family! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. Story
***Mickey and Zeal are a bonded pair that will only be adopted together.*** Introducing Mickey! Mickey is a stunning 8 yr. old long-haired purebred German Shepherd who weighs 88 lbs. To say this boy is Regal, is an understatement. His Guardian reports that Mickey is loyal, intelligent - he instantly responds to commands, sweet, goofy and entertaining, curious, sometimes vocal, dog and children friendly - perfect around infants. Mickey is active, yet super chilled and calm. He sensitive to storms and fireworks. Mickey loves to play with other dogs and his current activity level lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour a day. He also likes to play fetch off leash and chase lizards. Being the gentleman that he is, he walks nicely on and off leash. Mikey also likes to have a chew bone to pass the time and won't destroy anything, including toys. Mickey is a velcro dog who wants owners that he can be around as much as possible. He provides a service dog type companionship. He is extremely loving and affectionate - he loves everyone. Mickey's house manners are perfect. He's an indoor/outdoor dog who has always had doggy door access. And, he enjoys being groomed and lets you trim his nails like a gentleman. Mickey had blood work performed in August 2023 and the lab results came back great. He is in good health. He does have occasional anal leak, which is maintained, when needed, by an antibiotic (cost $35), a well-balanced nutritious diet that has adequate fiber and occasional Vet visits for anal expression. Mickey and his sister Zeal are litter mates and a bonded pair that will only be adopted together (the adoption fee for the pair is $300). They are in need of a new forever home due to their human owner passing away. Their current Guardian has known Mikey and Zeal since they were 2 years old so a lot is known about them. They currently reside in Tucson and can be transported to Phoenix or Prescott for Meet and Greet appointments to approved applicants. A home visit/inspection is required as part of the adoption agreement. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. ***Zeal and Mickey are a bonded pair that will only be adopted together.*** Introducing Zeal! Zeal is a beautiful 8 yr. old short-haired purebred German Shepherd who weighs 85 lbs. Zeal is very majestic. Her Guardian reports that Zeal is a deep loving soul. She is loyal, intelligent - she responds to commands, sweet, entertaining, curious, sometimes vocal, dog and children friendly - perfect around infants. Zeal is active, super chilled and calm. She is sensitive to storms and fireworks. Zeal likes playing with other dog but takes longer to warm up and play with them. Otherwise, she's a very neutral dog. Story
Rico is a sweet, lovable boy who is all about pleasing his humans. With his big heart and even bigger personality, Rico is looking for a forever home where he can share his love and joy. Rico is a well-mannered pup who knows how to keep his cool. He's not a barker, fence jumper, or digger, making him a great companion for any household. While Rico might jump up to greet you when you first meet, he's easily corrected and just wants to show his enthusiasm and affection. Once he knows what you want, Rico is eager to please and quickly becomes a well-behaved buddy. Rico has already mastered several commands, including "wait," "sit," "shake," and "go to bed." He's a quick learner and enjoys the mental stimulation that comes with training. Rico also loves car rides and easily gets into the vehicle, ready for any adventure that comes his way. Rico would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention and affection. His ideal family would appreciate his playful, gangly nature and provide him with consistent training and exercise. FOSTER'S NOTES: Rico has many wonderful qualities. He sleeps through the entire night. I am grateful for that. He puts himself to bed if he thinks I am up too late! He WATCHES television and goes right up to the screen from his chair for ALL dogs. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this sweet and eager-to-please boy into your family. Adopt Rico today and enjoy the unconditional love and joy he has to offer!
