Hound Dog is an 11-month-old, female, Irish Wolfhound Husky mix with a laid-back, sweet temperament. She’s great with kids and enjoys being part of the action, whether that’s playtime in the yard or relaxing nearby. A bit reserved at first, Hound Dog warms up with gentle attention and is known to be friendly, affectionate, and cuddly. We don’t know much about her personality yet, but she has been very cuddly and eager to get attention when interacting with staff. She is still very much a young puppy and needs chewing treats and toys to keep her entertained. She enjoys curling up with her brother Avery to take her little puppy naps.

Before adopting Maggs, please read up on the breed. True to her breed, she is a protector of her people and property. She loves to be with her "family" and makes a great protection dog. When coming to view Maggs, do not expect to take Maggs home on first visit. The staff will coach you in how to interact with the breed and what you may expect when bringing her home. Maggs weighs in at just under 100lbs and requires someone dog savy and strong. Maggs is currently a staff favorite and we really home the right home comes forward so we can set Maggs up for a lifestyle that fits her personality.

Story
Meet Kaine – Energetic & Loyal Siberian Husky (11 Years Old) Kaine is an 11-year-old neutered Siberian Husky with a big personality and a lot of love to give. Don't let his age fool you—he’s still full of energy and loves to play, but he’s also perfectly content lounging on the couch when it’s time to relax. He’s a dominant and vocal dog, typical of the husky breed, and thrives with experienced dog owners who understand his spirited nature. Kaine does not do well with smaller animals, so a pet-free home or one with other large, confident dogs would be best. He’s great with small children and enjoys being part of a family. If you're looking for a playful, loyal companion who still has a lot of life left in him, Kaine could be the perfect fit.
