Story
Yuno is a 9 month old Lab pit mix.He is very active and was given to my brother by a coworker whos dog unexpectedly had puppies. As a pre- vet student at the time,my brother surrendered Yuno to me to care for him until he finds a place for them to stay together. With my work load increasing and roommates complaining,I can no longer keep him and my brother was unable to secure a home for them. He is a very good boy(still a crazy puppy lol)and I will always want the best for him. Please help me find him a great home. I have been training Yuno since I got him when he was 2 months. The commands he knows are:Sit;Paw;Lay;Stay;Spin;Take a break;Come; and Heal. However, if there are outside distractions, he may not listen. He is also house broken and very excited to meet new people and animals! Still, extensive training is needed to promote a discipline and calm behavior as he does not know when it is time to not play. He still jumps and is teethy (playful/nonaggressive). Has toys, bed, bowls+ more

Story
We’ve had our sweet dog for 11 years, and he is the most gentle, calm, and loving companion. He’s very low-energy now that he’s older and prefers to relax, but he’s wonderful with all ages. He absolutely loves back rubs and having a good dog friend by his side!

Story
Cleo is a beautiful and independent dog looking for a patient and understanding home. While she thrives on love and snuggles, she reserves her affection for those she deeply trusts. Her journey to feeling secure and comfortable requires time, but the reward is a loyal and loving companion. This intelligent girl needs a confident and strong pack leader to guide her through training and reinforce positive behaviors. Cleo would do best in a calm, structured environment without children and with a family willing to move at her pace. She also carefully chooses her canine friends, so thoughtful introductions to other dogs are important. With the right home, Cleo will shine as a devoted and affectionate companion, ready to share her heart with those who earn her trust.

Story
Smiley is the sweetest and silliest dogs I’ve ever met. He loves to cuddle and be by your side. He loves to play with toys and run around with them. Smiley has enjoyed his walks on campus smelling all the new smells. He walks very well and when he gets to excited and starts walking too fast he can easily be corrected by being made to sit and then he’s back to walking like a gentleman. He’s very food motivated and loves all treats. He gets in his crate with no issues and relaxes very quickly, even if you are still in the room. He eats very well and takes his meals in his crate currently and has no issues with that. He’s a little fearful of men on our walks and I have not had the chance to introduce him to any men I know yet. He loves all the women he’s met. He gets super excited to meet people on walks and make friends. Smiley is the epitome of (wo)man’s best friend and would be perfect for anyone looking for a pet who will love you unconditionally. From his foster: Smiley has adjusted wonderfully to being fostered. He is extremely food motivated and because of this he is very trainable. He loves to go on walks and does very well and can easily be corrected. He hops in his crate with a treat and settles down quickly and does not attempt to escape and is potty trained. He has come out of his shell and wants to make friends with everyone we pass. Smiley loves to cuddle up at any opportunity he can. When standing in the kitchen or at a counter smiley lays down a few feet away just to see what you’re doing. He has some favorite vegetables, carrots and sweet potatoes, and loves to eat ice. He’s one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met! He would be a great companion for anyone looking for a best friend

Story
The gentlest of gentlemen is, in fact, Albanese and you won't find a pup more willing to nap in everyday that him. This old man love people and his furry companion and wins over everyone he has ever met. Albanese is neutered, microchipped, and unfortunately heartworm positive due to his past life of having no vet care. Albanese came in pretty rough but with medical car and some time in the foster home he is turning into a younger version of himself. In his time at CARE we have gotten him to a healthy weight, helped his skin to being almost back to its best, and he is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. foster notes: " This 7 year old compact cutie is ready for a forever home. He loves attention and to follow you around, but he’s also content to nap in his crate or on a dog bed. (He has no interest in getting on furniture.) He’s super quiet, is comfy kenneled at night, and has done well in a home with cats and dogs. He has discovered he likes rope toys, his dinosaur stuffy, and laying in the sunshine after a good roll in the grass. He is easy-going at bath time. When he is feeling himself he will do little old man zoomies that will make everyone chuckle. He just loves being around people and living his best life."

Story
Looking for a dog with personality and spirit? Vincent, a sleek black pup with adorably pointy ears, is ready to keep you on your toes! At just 2 years old, he’s got the heart of a playful puppy and the zoomies to prove it. Vincent is working hard on perfecting his leash-walking skills and learning to be his best social self. He would be best in a home without cat but has shown to be very social with other dogs and would need a home with one to help burn the extra energy he has. If you're up for an adventure and a buddy who loves life to the fullest, Vincent is your guy!
