Story
Update on Luddy: FOSTER NEEDED ‼️ Luddy weighs around 77 pounds and weighed only 40lbs when coming to the rescue when he was rescued off the chain. He is doing fantastic with being an indoor doggie. He has learned to go potty outside and not inside, he sleeps really well in his crate or occasionally in the bed or couch with his previous foster. He walks really well on the leash now too and loves to go on adventures, explore, and hiking trips! He pulls slightly but is learning and doing very well! Luddy needs a new foster as soon as possible. If you can foster, Southern Paws Animal Rescue will supply everything Luddy needs. It won’t cost you a dime! Just give him a safe place to stay while he waits for his forever family to find him. He is going through heartworm treatment and has about 6 weeks left, so he will need to stay inside the home except for leashed potty walks, because the heat will make him feel bad. Due to limited number of fosters, Luddy is being fostered with several other foster dogs and we are looking to spread these fosters out to more foster homes where they can get more individualized attention. Cats are a little too interesting to Luddy, so a home without cats would be best for him. Luddy would do well in a home without pets or a home with large female dogs. If you can foster this precious boy, or would like to give him a forever home, please call/text 205-239-1415 or email southernpawsanimalrescue@gmail.com Luddy is an available through Southern Paws Animal Rescue, Alabama in Northport.

Story
Meet Fable! She is around 9 months old. Her birthday is April 20, 2023. She is potty trained. She has had 1 DAPP vaccination, 2 DHLPP vaccinations, a rabies vaccination, dewormer, spayed, and microchipped. She is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We estimate Fable to be a large sized dog full grown. It is unknown at this time how she is around cats, because she has never been around them, but being a puppy would probably be okay with proper introductions. The mother was a full blooded German Shepard and their vet suspects they have some Great Dane in them. If you interested in adopting and/or fostering please text/call 2052391415 or email southernpawsanimalrescue@gmail.com

Story
There's so much to love about Baby! She's affectionate, athletic, curious, friendly, and funny. She loves to play, but she's also gentle when it comes to interacting with people. Her zoomies could out pace a race dog, but she never goes far from her person. Baby is a bit shy of strangers but once you tell her they're ok, she relaxes. Baby also has a sister who was just recently found. Her sister isn't ready for adoption just yet, but they're both amazing dogs and so cute together. They're ok to be separated, but if you'd like twin hounds let us know in your application! Baby is up to date on vaccines and spayed. Apply here: https://forms.gle/jkUgtsdFEbcjYbVcA Located in Alabama but can be transported.
