Story
I adopted Seven at approximately 4 months. He had been tied by the neck and had deep cuts on his neck from it. When I got him, he was already neutered and microchipped. He is a great and friendly dog. He is very smart and knows how to open doors and drawers, but he's never been destructive while doing so. He is not a barker. He also have never growled at a person or nipped at one. The reason that I need to find him a new home is that I have returned to full time work. He needs more interaction than I can provide and that has led him to climbing out of his fence. Once he realized that he could do that, I installed an electric fence. When he sees something that he's super curious about, he will climb the fence with his collar on. He doesn't do it every day, but at least twice a week. He just needs more room or companion dogs that help him be content in his own yard.

Story
CJ is about a year old. Very sweet but she is energetic, so people who are active or outdoorsy would be great. When it comes to kids, older kids would be better especially since she's the type to roughhouse. She's been potty trained, and she response to basic commands such as sit, stay, come, and crate. She is a chewer though, and she jumps. Both are things we've been working on.

Story
Jet is an 1.5-year-old male Pit mix who must be neutered before adoption.  After running around in a neighborhood for 10 days, City Animal Control brought him to PAHS.  Obviously, no owner reclaimed him.  Jet, named because he is fast, is gorgeous!  He has a very light tan coat with a bit of white markings.  He weighs 51 pounds so he is a large dog.  Jet will need a patient owner who will work on his leash training with him.  He is a bit timid and shy; and we believe he would be fine with older children.  If you have another dog, we would require a meet and greet with you other dog to make sure they would get along with each other.  Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  May 6, 2025, 8:12 am

Story
Addie is a 7-month-old female Boxer mix who has already been spayed.  She was an owner turn in because her owner no longer wanted her.  Addie is brown and white; and a strikingly pretty dog.  She weighs approximately 50 pounds so she is a medium sized dog.  At 7 months old--she is still growing so we believe she will be large adult dog.  Addie is very sweet and affectionate.  She craves attention and loves to be near you.  Addie would be fine with other dogs and older children.  She is quite active and playful so she would appreciate a securely fenced yard where she could play.  Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  February 26, 2025, 5:25 pm

Story
Ellison or better known as, Freckles, was part of a dynamic brother duo that I purchased from Louisiana. He and his brother were a gift to my two sons, brothers raising brothers. As most of you know, raising two young sons can often be loud, wild and high energy. Unfortunately for Freckles, this can be quite overwhelming and scary for him. I’d like to see Freckles go to a nice, quiet home, maybe no young kids. He really is a sweet boy and I think he would thrive in a less rambunctious environment.
