Jackie is terrific! Calm, loving, eager to please. Really quite. Doesnt complain or whine. Crate trained, house broken. I’ve tried and tried and tried but she and her mother cannot get along. She needs a loving home away from her.

Story
This is my mom’s dog. She rescued him about 6 years ago from a neglectful neighbor. She has now gotten too frail to adequately take care of him. Coco is a sweet dog but he’s untrained. No one in our family has the ability to take him. We are hoping to rehome him before mom has to go to assisted living.

Story
Sarabi is a 2-year-old female Cane Corso mix who found herself homeless out in the country.  Unfortunately, no one stepped forward to claim her. Sarabi was in terrible shape when she came to PAHS- emaciated, dehydrated, with a skin condition.  With lots of TLC from the shelter staff she is gaining weight and her skin is improving.  She still needs to gain wt., but she is clearly on the mend. Nothing regular quality food, love, and an occasional Pup Cup wont' cure.  Due to her energy level, she would be best with older children.  She is dog-friendly, but as always we recommend a meet and greet with any dogs you have in your home. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  September 6, 2024, 2:34 pm

Story
Mavis is a 6-month-old female Husky/Lab mix who must be spayed before adoption.  She was found as a stray out in the county and no owner came looking for her.  Mavis has a white coat with brown markings; and she is just gorgeous!  She has sky blue eyes that are strikingly beautiful.  Mavis weighs 31 pounds; and we think she will be a medium sized adult dog who could weigh up to 50-60 pounds.  She is playful, sweet, and would be just fine with children and other dogs.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  September 6, 2024, 2:34 pm

Story
Sully is an one year old Pit Bull/Boxer mix who makes friends easily. He was brought into the shelter after being found at a country gas station where he had been greeting customers for several days. He came in covered with ticks and a poor coat, but his coat shines now after the TLC from shelter staff. He walks gently on his leash, loves to cuddle, and gives lots of kisses. Sully also enjoys car rides and doesn't mind chilling in his crate. He would be fine with older children.  He has gotten along with other dogs in the shelter, but if you have a dog, we would like you to bring your dog in for a meet and greet.  Sully is a great dog who is ready for his Forever Family and a life filled with love.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  September 6, 2024, 2:34 pm

Story
Roxy is a 4-month-old female Shepherd mix.  She was brought to PAHS as an owner turn in because her owner did not have enough time for her.  Roxy is red with white markings and she has black highlights too.  She is a really pretty puppy.  Roxy will be a medium sized adult dog.  She has been in a home with younger children and she did great with them.   Roxy would also be good with other dogs. This sweet girl is ready for a home of her own and a family to love.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  September 6, 2024, 2:34 pm
