Story
We got her at the Dekalb county shelter in Ft . Payne , Alabama . on January 22 nd .We have a 10 year old chihuahua and they are just not getting along with each other . Gracie is ok with our chihuahua but since our chihuahua has been an ( only ) dog for the last 10 years , she is hesitated in being friends . The chip Gracie has does have our information on it . She is well behaved , and sits on comand .she wants to run outside and we don't want her to get lost because we live in a country setting , thus part of our delima with keeping her . This dog is sweet so if you can help , we will appreciate it as we really don't want to take her back to that shelter . We are willing to travel if its under 100 miles to transport this dog if we find her a new home . 🏡

Story
Meet Bea! The sweetest, silliest girl you'll meet! Bea is a 7 month old lab mix who would love to be your very best friend! She is a calm and quiet pup when chilling in the house, but loves to romp around the yard with her fur siblings! Bea enjoys a good squeaker toy, and also loves treats of every kind. She is food motivated and will sit and roll over for a treat. She is a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she will never want to leave your side! Bea is great with children, other dogs, and also LOVES cats! She will thrive in a home with other dogs. She is crate trained, spayed, and UTD on all vaccines. If you are interested in meeting Bea, send us a DM or fill out the form below https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LAPA/Dogntly

Story
She was found by the head of the household with a flea collar so tight that the skin grew over. We have healed her for 4 months. She has her shots, microchip, and rabies. We have an elder in the house and simply put a puppy chewing on our elder is causing some issues. She is so loving and has so much energy, but we can't have her scratching and playing with our elder that is prone to easily bleed. We want a good home for free for her. We want no money and only ask you love her. The only problem we have noticed with her is, she doesn't do well being in a kennel. She has panic attacks but she will sleep soundly anywhere else. I don't know why it is saying it's required she be spayed within 30 days of adoption. We believe it is the adopters choice not ours if she gets spayed.

Story
Someone dumped this baby and her sister. Apparently they were part of a larger litter who was also dumped, mother and all in various locations. Both are up for adoption. Both will go to a non fighting, non abusive owner. I would love for them to go together but I know sometimes that is not possible. Whoever dropped them taught them simple commands and they halfway mind. They are very social. They also know to stay back from cars when they are in motion. Both would be good dogs and easy to train. What little we have worked with them, they listen and mind. I would love to keep them, but I already have several pets and I do not have the deserving time to spend with another pet.

Story
Ralphie is a 4 year old mini Australian shepherd. He’s very energetic and loves to play fetch with anything you’ll throw! He needs lots of space to run and a family that is patient with him. He is very well potty trained and easy to teach new tricks. He does not like kennels but does well inside the house alone while we’re at work. He is leash trained with a swivel harness, but does have leash anxiety. We’re having to rehome him because of his anxiety. Although medication does help, he’s shown aggression towards small kids. Recommend he goes to a home with no small kids or small dogs. He does play well with most other dogs. He’s such a sweet and beautiful dog, he just has some anxiety that makes him unpredictable around babies.
