Story
Nina is a little shiny diamond-in-the-ruff. Her cuteness bursts out in a her prancey walk, sweet smiles, and adoration of toys! Once all her sniffing is done, she gets little silly playful spells and shows her youthful side. Tho a little bossy with some dogs, she can come around and play well with the right companion to teach her. This little beauty needs a home to give her just the right polish.   ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  April 2016   ~  Est weight:  35#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
A dapper fella with a charming half-tail, Tucker is a chill guy with a live-and-let-live attitude. He bonds tightly to his person once they've shown themselves worthy. A safe and quiet life is at the top of this boy's want list. Then he can really open up and show his fun side, which includes an adorable play bow! Tucker is a grump with other dogs.  Tucker has had a DNA test, so his breeds are not a guess! ~  Est DOB:  Aug 2011 ~  Est weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
If you like to set up obstacle courses on your 'back 40' and want a dog able to compete alongside you...Katrina has you covered! Katrina is fearless and limitless when it comes to jumping, climbing, walking a balance beam, or anything really that is between 'Katrina' and 'where Katrina wants to be.' In return for your really, really great fence or commitment to leash walks, you get a constantly-wiggling, super-loving girl with a fantastic smile and a world-class head tilt. She also enjoys water sports - got a hose or water gun? She'll entertain herself and you nonstop!! - and car rides. Katrina loves all people but precisely zero non-people (she is a devoted only pet with no dog park potential at all). Please contact the shelter if Katrina sounds like your next BFF.   ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB: Nov 2014  ~  Intake weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Yeah yeah, he shares a name with that famous book dog. But unlike him, our Marley is past the puppy nonsense and already has his basic manners and play skills down pat (well...keeping it real...he can't catch worth anything!). But just like that other Marley, our boy is looking for that home that will stay true, through thick or thin, for better or worse.   ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB: May 2014 ~  Est weight:  60#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Snuggle. Bunny. Yes, we know Luna is in fact a dog, but we just consider that a bonus! You won't need to file her teeth and good-mannered Luna is much less likely to chew your electrical cords (tho she can hop a fence).  She is much easier to take on walks, tho she thinks cardio is over-rated. This low-key girl much prefers your lap. Thoughtful to a fault, she knows there is no room in that lap for other critters, so asks to be your only snuggle bunny. ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB: Mar 2018~  Intake weight:  49#  ~  Adoption details: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Goober alert! Bodie is all puppy inside his brain. He is curious about absolutely everything, and follows that curiosity beyond reason. When he gets himself into a bind, he can really pour on the drama, putting on a world-class pout and keeping woe-is-me puppy-dog eyes at the ready to get sympathy. We confess - it works! Bodie is energetic and adventurous, tackling the playground equipment with happy abandon and impressive athleticism. He knows his manners but likes to see if maybe he doesn't have to use them (flash back to 'puppy-dog eyes' and pouts). Treats, toys, and adorable head tilts round out his favorite things. Honestly, life is pretty much his favorite thing. [Unfortunately, tho, other animals are not his favorite. But he will bring you a wealth of entertainment as an only pet!] ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB: May 2016~  Est weight:  60#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm
