Story
My roommate's friend dumped Tucker on her pretty last-minute, and she doesn't have the capacity to take proper care of him at this stage of her life. She has asked me to put his information out there so that hopefully a good family or future pet-owner could take him in. Tucker is an absolute sweetheart, but may have had a questionable past. He's a bit timid, and will bark a lot, when first meeting people, particularly men. However, once he's warmed up (which only really takes several minutes when the person is patient and slow), he's super happy and loving! He is energetic, so will need a routine and plenty of exercise/play time. He loves bones and toys that he can squish and sink his teeth into. He still needs a bit of training, although these past several weeks, he's been excellent at potty training! He gets along very well with other kids and dogs, and loves to play chase with dogs. He will give plenty of cuddles, and loves to hug and lean into you to receive good ear scratches.

Story
We acquired Layla from a wonderful lady that had taken her in after her owners passing away. When she took her in Layla was very under weight from being left behind. Layla is the sweetest gentlest dog. Her age is questionable. A year ago the vet said she had the teeth of a 4 year old but he could not be sure of her age because of her being malnourished & underweight. So unfortunately I do not know her age. She is wonderful in the home & very rarely, if any has had accidents. She’s beautiful. My son is moving & needs to re-home her. She loves the outdoors too & runs & plays happily. We live on a branch of the Cahaba & while out walking with her she frequents the water with her pal Baker.

Story
Badger is a sweet boy in need of a home without children and preferably without other dogs. He is reactive but can manage it well. He has had a lot of training with an e collar and is very good on it. He is on fluoxetine to manage anxiety. He doesn't like being cornered or stood over, but otherwise is a sweet dog. He came from a shelter and has made a ton of progress since I got him almost four years ago. He needs someone who can walk him or has a back yard for him, but otherwise he usually prefers to do his own thing.

Story
We were given Scout when he was 5 weeks old, because his mom had stopped nursing him. He was born on 12/24/2020. We have had him as part of our family for 4 years and 4 months. He is a mixed breed of Boxer/Australian Shepherd/Pug. He is very sweet and loving once he gets to know someone. We are no longer able to keep him because of the rules of our landlord. We pray for a wonderful and loving home for him to enjoy.

Story
Bruno just turned a year old and still has a lot of energy. He would be ok for older kids but probably not very young kids. He is very lovable and is protective of those he loves. He is also adventurous and likes to go on long walks. Unfortunately, we have a lot of transitions occurring in our family not yielding as much time as we'd like to spend with him. Which is why we've made the tough choice to put him up for adoption. Once he gets used to you, he will love and protect you.
