Story
Hey there! I’m Watson, a 3 year old male Doberman. Howdy y’all! This rescue life is kinda weird isn’t it? I am BIG Boy from the Carolinas that found myself in need of a new home. Luckily the folks here at SHDR took me in and are helping work on that! I’m basically a big puppy who has finally opened up and really learned how to be a dog. I really like playing with my foster siblings, but since I’m such a big boy, I can overwhelm them sometimes. I would love a home either all to myself or one with dogs as big or bigger than me to play with! I would also love a patient and understanding family who will work with me to overcome my trust issues and anxieties, while also having a confident leadership style that I can learn from. Story
Howdy! I’m Shaq, a one year old male Doberman.  How about this rescue stuff? I went from a rural shelter with my siblings in northern Alabama to a retirement home in Florida! At least that’s what I figure it must be since all the dogs here are ANCIENT! I’m the only puppy on the block, and all these old timers say I’m stinky and annoying… but I’m still here! I am a cuddly, playful puppy who loves wrestling with other dogs (when they give me the time of day) and meeting new pups and people. I will need a forever home with adult dogs to learn from and play with and a guiding hand to help train me to be the best stinky puppy I can be! Story
Hi there! I’m Sasha, a 7 year old female Doberman.  This rescue stuff is wild! I came from a home that I loved, but this foster place ain't so bad! My previous family was no longer able to take care of me, so they did the right thing and reached out to rescue to get me on the road to a new home. I’m an active girl who loves to play and explore! I love to snuggle, and I will hunt any squirrels or lizards I can find. I'll keep your yard safe for sure! I get along well with the other dogs in my foster home and would be happy just about anywhere. If you are interested in adoption, apply today at sweethomedobermanrescue.org/adoption! ##2062468##

Story
Hiya! I’m Sienna, a one year old female Doberman.    Oh BOY!! Are you excited about rescue? I sure am! I’m excited about EVERYTHING! I came into rescue after I was picked up by animal control in central Alabama. I had been living as a stray in a neighborhood with some kind folks who were helping to take care of me during the hot summer months. I was skinny and covered in ticks, but I’m a lot better now! I am a big puppy with lots of love to give. Everything is the most exciting thing ever to me! I LOVE being with my foster siblings and cuddling with my foster dad. A home with other dogs and an understanding of rescues would be ideal for me. I hope I find it soon!!   If you are interested in adoption, apply today at sweethomedobermanrescue.org/adoption! ##2146005##

Story
Well now howdy! I’m Rooster, a seven year old male Doberman.    Shoot y’all! I had a home I really loved up in Tennessee, but it went and caught fire! Can you believe the bad luck?? Everyone was okay, but without a roof over our heads, I had to come into rescue. It’s not so bad though! I like other dogs a lot and don’t have much interest in cats. I am a gentleman who loves everyone he meets. I’m also house trained and love to snuggle! I sure would love to find a new home soon!   If you are interested in adoption, apply today at sweethomedobermanrescue.org/adoption! ##2222177##

Story
Helloooo! I’m Divine, a one year old female Doberman.  Hey hey! Did you know this rescue thing is actually really nifty? I didn’t until now! I was rescued from a rough spot where I was malnourished and in need of a safe place to heal. I bounced back fast and am now ready for my forever home! I am good with other dogs and learn new things SUPER fast. I love to play and be close to my people. I can be a little shy around new people at first, but once I warm up to you, we can be best friends!
