Story
We rescued Buddy from being put down a year ago and he is the sweetest dalmatian mix (genetics tested) ever! He's 65 lbs, LOVES people and he's great with kids. He's very attentive to directions, loves being talked to along with laying next to people and being pet. He enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war with people. He's average energy level and mostly is relaxing and calm unless playing with someone. He's house & crate trained, never had issues chewing on things that arent his toys, never tablesurfs or steals food and not food aggressive. He could use some lease training. He's just a huge puppy at heart. The only reason he needs to be rehomed is that he has bit our other small dog when the small dog bullied and nipped at him. Unfortunately Buddy is a much bigger dog and didn't learn how to be around other dogs when he was raised, so we have to rehome him for the safety of the other dogs. He would do great in a home without other dogs and is very loving to every person he has ever met!

Story
Shaw is an energetic, fun-loving goofball who’s always ready for action! He’s house-trained and totally cool hanging out in his crate or chilling at home when left alone. But don’t let that fool you—this guy has energy for days and loves to play, play, play! Squeaky toys? Yep! Fetch? Absolutely! If you’re not throwing the ball, don’t worry—he’ll just drop it at your feet and patiently (or not-so-patiently) wait for you to get the hint. Shaw is great with smaller dogs and loves having a little buddy to romp around with! He can be a bit nervous around larger dogs, so he’d need some time and positive introductions to feel comfortable. When it comes to people, he’s good with kids of all ages, he does have a playful, bouncy energy so kids who can keep up with his zest for life would be best. He’s currently living with a 9- and 13-year-old and having a blast! Meeting new people? Shaw can be a little cautious at first, but bring out the treats, and you’ll be best friends in no time! Once he knows they’re cool, he’s all about the love (and the licks—LOTS of licks). When he’s getting pets, he’ll even wrap his paws around your arm like a big ol’ hug! Walks? He’s got those down, though he’s still figuring out that strange noises and unfamiliar objects aren’t out to get him. At the end of the day, once he’s burned off all that energy, he crashes hard and sleeps like a champ. If you’re looking for a funny, playful, and endlessly entertaining companion who will keep you moving and laughing, Shaw is your guy!
