Story
She is the dog version of Snow White and I am not talking about the color of her fur, she is a true, gentle friend to all the animals. She is friendly, greeting people calmly and gently, lives with kids, cats, and dogs. She has a gentle presence with a love of snuggles, her name is Dani. Take a look at her in action then come back to read more https://youtu.be/55DPtwvb6lY
Dani has a striking, Dalmatian like look to her, black and white, spotted but with slightly longer fur than a Dalmatian typically has. We can’t guarantee breed or age in rescue but would say it is very likely Dani is a Dalmatian/Lab mix and we estimate she is just about 3 years old, currently weighing 60 lbs fully grown. Dani can come across as a bit shy initially but she warms up quickly with affection. Before you know it, you are where she wants to be. Your lap, right next to you, or with her head resting in your hand. Her foster shared that this is her gentle way of asking for a few pets, she will manage to get her head into your hand and then shoot you those big ol’ adoring eyes at you, it is a move that hasn’t failed her yet.
Although Dani herself is calm and peaceful, she thrives in the company of kids and dogs. Her foster home is a busy place, other dogs, several cats, kids, you know, the classic family home and Dani fits right in. When she isn’t playing with the dogs, or laying down peacefully for the cats to explore, she can be found snuggled up by one of the kids on the couch or in their bed.
Since Dani has an adoring foster family we are able to share with confidence that she is both house and crate trained, comfortable being in her crate for 6-7 hours while her family is at work and school. She has not ever had an accident in her crate or in the house. She is also very comfortable on-leash with great manners while on walks, keeping a nice pace and staying close. One of her favorite ways to spend time is on outdoor adventures where she can explore nature. If headed out on a road-trip she may need a little boost getting into the car but once she is in she is easy-breezy and happy.
Dani was introduced to a handful of new dogs to get a sense of her play-style and the dogs she gravitates to. We quickly saw that Dani shines with other dogs. She greeted each new dog with calm, wonderful doggie manners and in no time was running around having so much fun with her group of new friends. One key thing we observed is how well she matched the energy of the dog she was playing with, playful and bouncy or rough and tumble. With a canine buddy around, Dani became a playful, confident part of the pack and was ready to join in for chase or a little rough and tumble play. An ideal home for Dani would be a home with kids or other dogs to keep her company and engaged. Cats welcome too! If you haven’t seen her absolutely perfect approach to kitties, go watch her video now, she is a dream. Simply, she thrives on companionship. Her love of exploring the yard and playing with her doggie pals means she is best suited for a home with a yard.
This gentle girl won the hearts of everyone she met, and the words “ so sweet” were used just about as much as “such a good girl” was said. A Snow-White cutie like Dani will not be available for long, so if you are interested, fill out an adoption application today and get the process of bringing her home started.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.
While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
