Story
Heshey is a gorgeous chocolate and tan girl. She was a great Mom to her nine babies who came to us with her, and is now ready to be in a furever home where she will be loved and pampered a little. Hershey is friendly and outgoing, both with people and dogs and will be a wonderful companion. She walks wonderfully on a leash, never pulls, and takes cues from the hooman walking her. Please come and meet her. She is sure to steal your heart! Story
Why did Baylor and his buddy Beans cross the deserted country road? Well, to be rescued by a Good Samaritan of course who happened to be driving by. And what a great duo these two are! Baylor will definitely be a medium to large sized who is as tall as a puppy as Beans is as an adult dog, whereas Beans is a grown, compact and sturdy body type. We think he could be part Kelpie, but are just guessing really. What we know is that he is a very cute and very loving dog who apparently has been watching over Baylor with great care. Beans is missing a little section of his right ear though we do not know how that came about. Maybe fighting off a predator to protect Baylor while they were on their own? We are just in love with him. He must have been through quite a bit, yet was cautiously trusting as we rid him of all the fleas and dirt he was covered with and was very thankful in the end. What a guy! And what a lucky adopter who will welcome him to a much better life than what he has had! Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. Story
Hi! My name is Ruby. I’m just as beautiful as the famous DeLong Star Ruby. There is a lot of me to love at 70 pounds, but you wouldn’t know it because I’m as gentle as a lamb! Check out my coat. See all those spots? I have some Dalmatian in me as well as some Great Pyrenees. Rubies are said to enhance the ability to give and receive unconditional love. It is known as the stone of the heart. It’s a perfect name for me as I’m so sweet, affectionate, and gentle. The staff and volunteers say I give the best kisses of anyone.I’ve been at TBC for about 6 years now and I’m so very ready to find my forever home. I’m about 8 years old so I’ve outgrown the puppy crazies and have settled into a calm, laid back girl. I do want to be the star of the show- so I prefer to be your only canine family member. I’m housetrained, Heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. Please come meet me. You’ll fall head over heels in love with me, I’m certain! If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Hi! I'm Marty! I'm an approximately 2 year old, male, Dalmatian/Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 50lbs. I was found off Westbury Drive in Rockwall on 12/30/2024 and never reclaimed. I am a love bug who enjoys big hugs. I am working on coming out of my shell and adjusting to being in a shelter. I am hoping to find a loving family to has time and patience to help me become the best family pet I can be! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125 and that includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm test! Please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. January 3, 2025, 3:36 pm

Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
