Meet Skyler! This beautiful 3-year-old, 55 lb dog is looking for a new home where she can be the star. Skyler’s owners are rehoming her as she's recently started playing a little too rough with the cat and smaller dogs. She would do best as the only pet or with a dog her size or larger. Skyler is playful, sweet, and would make a wonderful companion for someone ready for her energetic and loving personality. She’s up to date on shots, spayed, and housetrained. If you’re interested in giving Skyler a forever home, please fill out an application. codysfriendsrescue.org  Foster or adopt. The one thing hindering this amazing boy from finding a family, is that he is absolutely terrified of thunder and fireworks. He needs a home with sympathetic and understanding humans that will love him and reassure him in these times of doubt.  He will repay you for your kindness with endless love and kisses.   Marshall is about 50lbsHe is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and current on prevention. Please reach out if you have any questions or are interested in giving this boy a family!  Please be sure to include your phone number with your inquiries and check your spam folder for a reply. ##1178228##

Story
Hi! I'm Marty! I'm an approximately 2 year old, male, Dalmatian/Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 50lbs. I was found off Westbury Drive in Rockwall on 12/30/2024 and never reclaimed. I am a love bug who enjoys big hugs. I am a smarty pants and love to keep busy and keep my mind moving! I am hoping to find a loving family that has time and patience to challenge my mind and to help me become the best family pet I can be! I walk well on a leash and am working on crate/house training. I have made a few friends here at the shelter but if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters are to date, and heartworm negative! Please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. January 20, 2025, 1:05 pm

Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Hi! My name is Ruby. I’m just as beautiful as the famous DeLong Star Ruby. There is a lot of me to love at 70 pounds, but you wouldn’t know it because I’m as gentle as a lamb! Check out my coat. See all those spots? I have some Dalmatian in me as well as some Great Pyrenees. Rubies are said to enhance the ability to give and receive unconditional love. It is known as the stone of the heart. It’s a perfect name for me as I’m so sweet, affectionate, and gentle. The staff and volunteers say I give the best kisses of anyone.I’ve been at TBC for about 6 years now and I’m so very ready to find my forever home. I’m about 8 years old so I’ve outgrown the puppy crazies and have settled into a calm, laid back girl. I do want to be the star of the show- so I prefer to be your only canine family member. I’m housetrained, Heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. Please come meet me. You’ll fall head over heels in love with me, I’m certain! If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Archer came to our rescue after being picked up as a stray. He doesn’t know his front ankles aren’t ‘normal’ as he gets around just fine. This condition is Angular Limb Disorder and attempting surgeries to resolve could make his situation worse. While he wouldn’t be a great running companion he still loves going for walks and short jogs. Long or strenuous walks could make him sore, so his family would want to avoid that as he would go if asked. This handsome boy is a happy, outgoing, gentle soul. He loves humans of all sizes and ages. Being with his humans and getting attention is his very favorite thing. He lives with lots of other dogs and is fine with everyone unless they are nasty to him; he won’t be bullied by anyone. He is good around the cats in his foster home who are very dog savvy. Archer has excellent house manners and is crate trained. He is engaged with his humans and treat motivated so would do well with training. He already has great recall and will sit for treats. He loves going for rides and would be a great go-everywhere dog. Archer is fully vetted – current vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Bianca came to us with a head trauma which resulted in the loss of her eye and surgery to repair the damage to her mouth/facial area, but she fully recovered and is a happy, outgoing, playful girl. This lovely girl gets along with other dogs of all sizes and ages and would excel in a home with other dogs to spend time with. She is great with humans of all sizes and ages also and loves getting attention. Though she is crate trained, she would rather not have to be in one; she’s not destructive and is only crated in her foster home for safety reasons. She has great house manners and will go to the door when she needs to potty.Bianca is fully vetted - current with her vaccines, spayed and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and microchipped.
