Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Lutz is a young boy who came to us with Mom and siblings when he was just a baby. Can you believe he is still with us at the rescue? He is approaching his first birthday, and we so hope he can celebrate it in a furever home! Lutz is a solidly built guy, is good on leash, and gets along great with other dogs. He loves attention and being scratched behind his ears, but can also entertain himself. He loves toys, especially those he ca chew on for a while. Come meet him or one of his siblings who are also still waiting for a loving family!@ Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. Livvie is a teenager now, but came to Furry Friendzy as a puppy along with her Mom Lucy and siblings. We just do not understand why they have not been adopted as they are all just beautiful! Livvie is calm and friendly, crate trained, and housebroken. She is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. She loves to play with the other "teenager" at her foster home and gets along with all the "adult" dogs as well, and even the cat. Come meet her or one of her siblings! Story
Mom and her eight babies were unceremoniously dumped at a small rural cemetery. How can anyone do this to this sweet family? Mom is super friendly and has taken great care of her babies who are all weaned and healthy children. The babies look like they will be about Mom's size, a very manageable 40-50 lbs, and of course all are cute as buttons. You can find the five girls and three boys as our "L-litter."

Story
Hey there, my name is Rango & I love to play with anyone I see! My signature move is to `hurdle` over any dog I`m playing with outside to mix the game up. I give the ABSOLUTE best hugs and love playing in the yard with other dog pals, almost as much as curling up on the couch with you! My ideal home would have a big yard, some kids & another dog brother/sister for me to play with! Please come to the shelter to meet me & allow me to pull your heartstrings enough to take me home with you!
