Story
I met Dolce (Dolch) at the Williamson County Animal Shelter in Georgetown, Texas. We were looking for another dog to accompany Leila, my Shiba Inu. We met several dogs, but the minute I saw Dolce, I knew he was special. He is a very loving, easy-going, and energetic companion. He loves to have his neck and back brushed, loves pork hot dogs as treats, and is very friendly to humans and other domestic animals. Although he is big and imposing, don't expect him to play guard dog; he is too eager to make more friends. Dolce is still a puppy at heart. Unfortunately, circumstances have changed in my home, and I can no longer support both of my dogs and will have to relocate. We currently live in central Texas, near Austin. I hope to find him a home where he can continue to experience love, kindness, and friendship. Thank you.

Story
My husband and I adopted Leo from the Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center! He is around 1.5-2 years old. We got Leo as a companion to his littermate, Marco, whom we adopted when he was 4 months old & they are showing signs of littermate syndrome. Leo is a shy/anxious boy who would do best in a female only household, as he’s been abused by men & if there are dogs, dogs his size. He does still need basic training and 1-on-1 attention. He is slowly grasping the command and come but is not confident. He loves to play fetch and loves to be pet once he comfortable. He hates baths and hates the harness but is completely fine once walking or in the car. We truly believe he can thrive in a different environment, one that can give him the care and training he needs. We have three other dogs including his brother and realized we can’t give him the proper care needed with his background.

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.
