Story
This is Verity! She was found in Crowley and stayed at the shelter for over a month until a man adopted her finally. He took her home fresh from spay surgery and left her in the back yard and she jumped the fence - opening her surgery site up needing emergency surgery. The adopter said he would not pay for the surgery and didn’t want her anymore. Luckily a doctor at my job saved her and I offered to let her stay in my home so she didn’t have to go back to the shelter as they told us there was no room for her and she would be put on the euthanasia list. She is now healed & socialized to other dogs, a cat, and children so she is ready for her new home❤️ We are very happy to do meet and greets! She will come with collar, bowl, a few of her fav toys, and her kennel.

Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Marshall is a fantastic boy!  He is dog, cat and kid friendly! He rides well in the car, walks great on a leash, is crate and potty trained!  He'll enjoy a long walk or a snuggle sesh on the couch and rarely complains! The one thing hindering this amazing boy from finding a family, is that he is absolutely terrified of thunder and fireworks. He needs a home with sympathetic and understanding humans that will love him and reassure him in these times of doubt.  He will repay you for your kindness with endless love and kisses.   Marshall is about 50lbsHe is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and current on prevention. Please reach out if you have any questions or are interested in giving this boy a family!  Please be sure to include your phone number with your inquiries and check your spam folder for a reply. ##1178228##

Story
Meet Skyler! This beautiful 3-year-old, 55 lb dog is looking for a new home where she can be the star. Skyler’s owners are rehoming her as she's recently started playing a little too rough with the cat and smaller dogs. She would do best as the only pet or with a dog her size or larger. Skyler is playful, sweet, and would make a wonderful companion for someone ready for her energetic and loving personality. She’s up to date on shots, spayed, and housetrained. If you’re interested in giving Skyler a forever home, please fill out an application. codysfriendsrescue.org  Foster or adopt.
