Story
We adopted Bono in 2019 from Nashville Humane Association at 9 weeks old - he turns 6 in August. Bono is energetic, fun, very obedient and loves to be loved. He does deal with anxiety and needs to be in an environment where he can get lots of exercise. A farm would be ideal or an owner who has time to consistently run/walk him. Since the arrival of our baby we have been concerned that he will not get the proper care he needs. Gets along well with his sister who is a black lab mix, but may not be the best fit in a family with small children. While Bono is well fed, taken for short walks and has a cozy bed to sleep in - we simply feel he would have a better quality of life with a new owner. We are very sad about our decision to re-home as he has brought us a lot of joy, but we want to do what is best for not only us but also for him!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bolt! Despite his speedy name, Bolt is a calm, well-behaved boy who loves staying close to his people. He knows lots of commands and has excellent recall — he’ll come right to you when called. Bolt is wonderfully gentle with children and smaller dogs, making him a perfect family companion. All Bolt really wants is love. He’s a big cuddler, but he’s polite about his size — instead of climbing into your lap, he’ll curl up sweetly by your side or at your feet. With his striking green eyes and the adorable hidden spots under his ears, Bolt is as charming as he is handsome. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend, Bolt might just be the perfect match! Say hello to the Righteous Gemstones. Mom is Lindy. She and her 6 pups were living on their own in the country and a nice lady was trying so hard to find help for this family. Sadly one pup did not survive but we were notified just in time to save mom and 6 pups. Lindy is only 42 pounds and looks to be a Kelpie. That’s a herding breed…and a perfect medium size. Mom is very laid back and she and her pups are enjoying the lifestyle they have come into. They have comfy beds, blankets, a couch, ac and all the food, water, vetting and love they needed to help them survive. We estimate the puppies were born in late March so that means if all goes as planned they will be fully vetted and ready for their forever homes the last weekend in May. What a perfect time to bring a pup home. If you are interested in adopting please visit our website at funnyfarmpets.org You can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works. The link to submit the application is https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog Adoption fees are $399 and if the dog has to be transported out of West TN there will be an additional $200 fee.
