Story
https://foha.org/pet/diego2024/ Do you like to play fetch? Well, I am the perfect dog for you. I get so excited to be able to run around and play with you. Do you have a yard for me or do you like to go to Dog Parks? Again, I would be the perfect side kick for you. We could both get out and exercise at the same time! Another wonderful note about me is I know how to sit on command and I listen quite well to the person who is in charge of me. I will be your best friend and loyal to you to the end of time! Please consider adopting me because I know that you and I would make a fantastic team together. I promise to give you kisses even when you didn't know you needed them. I will be here at FOHA my temporary home until you come to adopt me. Until then, have a wonderful day. I will be watching for you each and every day! Love, Diego

Ringo-German Shorthaired Pointer male, ~ 12 mo. (Dec. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application Ringo came to rescue recently after being evaluated to be a Service Dog. He's been through a Prison Training program and has learned so much. The trainer says he has a sweet temperament and shows signs of being very 'birdy'. He is housetrained and crate trained, having lived in an apartment at the prison, with his inmate trainer. He's had basic obedience. Ringo learned about grooming and good husbandry skills. He has not met cats, but will be cat tested in the near future. Ringo is an active boy and will enjoy a lifestyle that fits his personality. He'll love hiking, running...anything active.
