Story
Zeus Thunderbolt (aka. Shadow) is a very social, fun-loving dog. While in foster care he has thrived, becoming one of the pack members and enjoying romps in the woods with his four 4-legged brothers and sisters. He absolutely loves to play and gets along with other dogs, although he does like to play (and bounce) very lively so some other dogs might not appreciate his enthusiasm. When he comes inside, he’s very cuddly, wanting to always be right with his “people”. If you are looking for a dog to be active with, but to also snuggle down with while watching TV or reading a book, he’s for you!

Story
Meet Atlas! This guy ended up with Helping Paws after not adjusting well to life with the addition of a baby to the family. He is a very sweet and sensitive boy and can get easily spooked by kiddos that move too quickly. But he is currently in a foster home with older children and is doing great! He also came to us very nervous of men, but has gotten MUCH better since first arriving and gaining more confidence. He has the best tail wag where all of his butt wiggles and it will melt anyone's heart! Atlas knows a lot of commands and is pretty good listener since all he wants to do his please his people :) He is housetrained and crate trained as well. He does ok in car, but it isn't his favorite thing. He also is doing well working on his leash training. Atlas needs a little bit to warm up to new dogs (again, it's just a lack of confidence with him), but once he does, he loves to run and play! He has become the resident puppy babysitter in his foster home and loves to run around with a toy so the puppies chase him! He can sometimes guard his toys with other animals, but we are working on correcting that as well and he's doing great. He did live with cats previously and currently has cats in his foster home, although he sometimes gets a little too interested in them so a dog savvy cat or no cats would probably best. Atlas' adoption fee is $250 and he comes vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and is current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Story
Meet Fang! He’s the sweetest most gentle boy! He loves to play, I mean he could play for hours and not get tired. I originally got him when he was a puppy so I’ve had him for 5 years, it pains me to see him go but he deserves a better home life than I can give him. My living situation is the issue otherwise he’s such a keeper. He loves cuddles, he knows his commands such as sit, lay down, down, go, stay, and “get it.” I use get it for when he’s waiting for his food and staying, and when it’s time to eat I say get it and he eats. Very well trained and will sit by the door when it’s time to go outside for a potty break. He has a beagle bark when a new person comes in but I give all new people cheese and he usually stops. He does have crate anxiety and doesn’t like to be left alone for long periods of time
