Story
To APPLY for THIS DOG, go to our website K9Lifeline.com This handsome, well behaved guy is Charlie. He 's a friendly, calm boy who's a big ol' lover & couch hog! Being a stray we estimate him to be about 4-5 years old based on his pearly whites, temperament & demeanor. At the Vet he weighed in at 50# but does need to gain 3-4 pounds. Even with being under weight Charlie does not lift a lip to anyone around his food or bully sticks. He is an easy going, well behaved dog. Charlie is house broken & crate trained. During his Foster's work days, Charlie is alone about 8 hours, he does well. Charlie plays with a variety of toys on a regular basis. Charlie walks well on leash but his Foster prefer he goes to a home with a fenced yard as he likes to run (see Video) Charlie seems to know commands, we are working on figuring out which ques work. So far we have lay down. Charlie is Fostered in a home with a Parrott whom he ignores in or out of her cage, even when she talks! He's good with & plays with other dogs (see video) another dog in the home is Not required to adopt him though. Charlie's Foster Home does not have kids but we suspect he would be fine with kids over 10. A home that's low key, not hectic or busy all the time is what Charlie is used to. Charlie is on the medium/low side for an energy level. He walks nice on leash & listens well. Charlie has a fantastic temperament. To APPLY for THIS DOG, go to our website K9Lifeline.com I am fostered just South of Rochelle, IL. If you are reading this we are still accepting applications for consideration. The donation for this dog is $550.00. That includes: Neuter surgery, Microchip, Negative 4DX Heartworm/Lyme Tests, DAPPv Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, Dewormings, Heartworm & Flea/Tick preventative, current Vet exams plus a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection Health Exam Certificate. To APPLY for THIS DOG, go to our website K9Lifeline.com .

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Pongo was born February 12, 2020 and is soon going to be 3 years old. He is a fun-loving, super energetic guy who also enjoys belly rubs and playing fetch with his orange ball. Pongo has been around other dogs his size and bigger and loves to play lots and lots. He would love a big open space to be able to run around in and get all his energy out. He knows to use the bathroom outside, is crate trained, and has some obedience training like sitting, waiting, off, and some tricks like spin but needs an experienced adoptee who can handle his high energy. He is a very friendly dog and has no history of distemperment or aggression. He is fine around people but has LOTS of energy. Pongo would love lots of time for chin scratches and tug of wars and just as equally would love to lay by your feet and watch a movie. For an additional fee I can provide Pongo’s crate as well as his cost and brushes.
