Story
This beautiful Dalmatian/Pitty mix may be deaf, but she is so amazingly sweet and gentle. She loves everyone she meets, but would advise against small children due to her strength and excitability. She is housebroke and loves to snuggle on the sofa where you will get your fill of big, sloppy, kisses. She is also learning sign language. She does have lots of energy so she needs room to run and play. She can be food aggressive with other dogs, therefore it would be best if she were the only dog, although she does love to run and play with a male dog we have. (We just feed them separately) We cant keep her because we already have 3 large dogs, and a cat, (which she is starting to do better with.)

Story
To APPLY for THIS DOG, go to our website K9Lifeline.com This handsome, well behaved guy is Charlie. He 's a friendly, calm boy who's a big ol' lover & couch hog! Being a stray we estimate him to be about 4-5 years old based on his pearly whites, temperament & demeanor. At the Vet he weighed in at 50# but does need to gain 3-4 pounds. Even with being under weight Charlie does not lift a lip to anyone around his food or bully sticks. He is an easy going, well behaved dog. Charlie is house broken & crate trained. During his Foster's work days, Charlie is alone about 8 hours, he does well. Charlie plays with a variety of toys on a regular basis. Charlie walks well on leash but his Foster prefer he goes to a home with a fenced yard as he likes to run (see Video) Charlie seems to know commands, we are working on figuring out which ques work. So far we have lay down. Charlie is Fostered in a home with a Parrott whom he ignores in or out of her cage, even when she talks! He's good with & plays with other dogs (see video) another dog in the home is Not required to adopt him though. Charlie's Foster Home does not have kids but we suspect he would be fine with kids over 10. A home that's low key, not hectic or busy all the time is what Charlie is used to. Charlie is on the medium/low side for an energy level. He walks nice on leash & listens well. Charlie has a fantastic temperament. To APPLY for THIS DOG, go to our website K9Lifeline.com I am fostered just South of Rochelle, IL. If you are reading this we are still accepting applications for consideration.
