Story
Pongo was born February 12, 2020 and is soon going to be 3 years old. He is a fun-loving, super energetic guy who also enjoys belly rubs and playing fetch with his orange ball. Pongo has been around other dogs his size and bigger and loves to play lots and lots. He would love a big open space to be able to run around in and get all his energy out. He knows to use the bathroom outside, is crate trained, and has some obedience training like sitting, waiting, off, and some tricks like spin but needs an experienced adoptee who can handle his high energy. He is a very friendly dog and has no history of distemperment or aggression. He is fine around people but has LOTS of energy. Pongo would love lots of time for chin scratches and tug of wars and just as equally would love to lay by your feet and watch a movie. For an additional fee I can provide Pongo’s crate as well as his cost and brushes.

Story
Hello! My name is Neville, Neville Longbottom! I coined the phrase ‘puppy eyes’ and am not afraid to use them when I don’t want you to leave. My birthday is approximately July, and I will be 4 years-old this year. My background is unknown, likely a Dalmatian mix. Although small and calm for a Dalmatian, I am more than thrilled for my daily outside time once my mom gets off work. I am eager to please and be shown affection. I am often led by my nose and get to know everyone and everything by sniffing about. I am crate trained, but my family only kept me in the crate during the day for 2-3 weeks. Then, mom decided she wanted to test leaving me out while she was at work. I was only 6 months old, but I passed the test, and she’s left me out ever since. I have never had an accident in the house nor have I ever chewed on anything that wasn’t my own toy. We are all so proud of me! I love company whenever I can get it but do not need to be engaged all of the time. I have been around kids and adults of all ages often since I was a pup and enjoy any opportunity to meet and greet someone new! If I don’t seem interested in you at first, it’s because I am more interested in smells first. Once I have the opportunity to sniff around a bit, I will make my way back to you and seek out pets and scratches. One of my favorite times is playdates with other dogs! I easily adapt to dogs of all sizes! I am a food driven guy and can be stealthy if there is food left out and about or a garbage can left open, so if you leave something out, and I indulge, I am sorry! Sometimes I can’t help myself, but I am working on it. I love to run trails, walk, and play fetch outside when I am not laying around inside. I have been trained off leash, but led by my nose, have on occasion sprinted off to chase a scent. When called back, I listen, but possibly on my own time frame with a new owner, so it may be best to keep me on a leash or in a fenced in area for a while. I do pull at times on walks but don’t pull if I am wearing a prong collar or a harness. I am incredibly smart and caught on quickly to commands such as come, sit, and shake, yet staying is a bit more challenging for me for long periods of time. I am the best listener and love cuddles. I love to be groomed (brushed), am fine with my nails being shaved down, and even my teeth being brushed, but I am not a bath guy. Baths scare me, and I will likely slump to my crate in an attempt to avoid them. Inside, my mom picks me up and plops me in the tub. Once in the bath, I’m ok. I do frolic in creeks but will not go into water that I cannot stand up in. To sum this up, I am an extremely loyal dog that just loves to love and be loved! I can’t wait to meet you! If you would like to meet this dog please call Lorri at 630-659-8814. The adoption fee is $225. Adoption fee includes: - microchip - spay/neuter - age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies - heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive - deworming
