Story
Madeline has been out dog for her entire six years of life. She lives to please and is very affectionate. She loves her humans and loves to play! She knows sit, stay, come, down, blanket, go lay down, toy, shake, wave, crawl, and roll. Unfortunately she can be a bit timid in new experiences. She has had some bad experiences when she was younger with large dogs and has been a bit stand-offish with them since then. We do not have a small dog but she shows great interest in small dogs. We do have a cat who she is primarily respectful of. She is timid around strangers and they timidness can sometimes result in her baring her teeth (she has never actually bit anyone). We recently had a baby and she is exhibiting some of that around him. That along with us no longer having time to devote for her has led my husband and I to decide that rehoming her may be the best situation for everyone involved.

Story
A few months before she turned 1, her and a few of my other dogs escaped through a hole in the fence and into the woods. It took 9 days to find her and by then she had been hit by a car. She's had two surgeries on her right leg but it remains immobile. She still runs and plays and climbs stairs like nothing is wrong. She is now 3.5 years old. Pixel is rambunctious and loves pets/cuddles. She gets along with my kids, other people, male dogs, and anyone who isn't her sister. We want her to go to a home where she can run around and be loved
