SAMMIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED! Sammie is a 1 year, 9 month old, 29 pound mixed breed pup.  She is house trained, crate and leash trained.  Sammie needs her size and larger dogs in the home as she is food aggressive with smaller dogs. Sammie is sweet and playful!  She plays well with other dogs and is great with children, although older children in the home please, as she likes to jump and play and could knock down a little one. She is a great size for any home! Sammie has been spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and is microchipped.   Her adoption fee of $450 includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Sammie up north after she is adopted.   To apply to adopt Sammie , please go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.  Any questions, email us at:  newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com.   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Leo is a stunning 3-year-old Dalmatian weighing around 60 pounds. This sweet boy is initially shy but quickly warms up to show his affectionate side, following you around like a shadow. Leo needs a slow intro with dogs. He needs only older, respectful children in his forever home. He is good with cats, and even geese and goats! He’s fully house trained. Leo’s previous owner surrendered him due to personal reasons. Leo has some separation anxiety and would benefit from training.LOCAL ADOPTION ONLYIMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.January 25, 2025, 9:32 pm

Story
Dee Dee is a little 1 year old and a Dalmatian mix. She has been in foster since she was around 4 months old and knows how to use the doggie door. She is a bit skittish and cowers with sudden movements so a home without children is a must. Dee Dee doesn’t like abrupt affection so she needs a patient and adult only home. With dogs, she can be a little bit of a bully given the temperament of others in the pack. If there is another dog in the home, she would do best with another pup who’s isn’t overly dominant but not a pushover either as she will test them to see she if she can be the dominant dog. She needs another pup who can be her equal. Dee Dee really is a sweet girl who will be a loyal and loving companion for a single person or adult only family. Dee Dee is spayed, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Fiona needs a new foster or foster-to-adopt home. About three years old, Fiona came from a large hoarding situation. She is a shy, gentle girl who needs TLC and time to get comfortable in a home. Fiona loves other dogs and we would like to see her in a home with at least one other dog. The activity level of small children would scare her, so an adult home or one with older children would be ideal. She needs a home with a securely fenced yard, and a family who has experience and patience. To foster or foster-to-adopt Fiona please fill out our application - https://www.furryfriendsct.org/foster-application NOTE: Foster or foster-to-adopt families must be located within the state of Connecticut.

Story
Lyla just loves playing with other dogs She's shy with new people and takes a little time to realize you're just a new friend she hasn't met yet - but a few treats and some time and she'll figure it out! She'd love a home with a securely fenced yard (she hasn't figured out leashes yet) and a dog friend or two - and would be happy to live with teenaged children. This sweet girl came from a large hoarding situation and she has come so far! These days she's a happy girl - and is ready and waiting to find her forever home. If that home could be yours, please fill out an application - https://www.furryfriendsct.org/adoption-application
