Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, January 10. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants January 5-11.*
Meet Perdita, a stunning Dalmatian with a heart as big as her spots. From the moment you meet her, it’s clear she has so much love to give. Perdita warms up quickly to new people and forms strong bonds—once you’re “her person,” you’re her person for life.
Perdita loves her toys and enjoys playtime just as much as cuddle time. She’s an excellent running or hiking buddy and would thrive with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and getting outdoors. After a good adventure, she’s more than happy to settle down, curl up in your lap, and soak up all the affection she can get. She truly loves her people and wants to be part of everything you do, whether that’s a family walk, a game in the yard, or relaxing at home. With her affectionate nature and loyal personality, Perdita would make a wonderful family dog for a home ready to include her as a cherished companion. She’s smart, eager to engage, and happiest when she’s spending quality time with those she loves.
Perdita is also doing great with her training. She is potty trained, is working on being crate trained, and already knows her basic commands. She’s currently working on her leash manners and continues to improve with consistency and positive reinforcement. Her intelligence and eagerness to please make her a joy to work with.
Perdita is a 3-year-old Dalmatian rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Perdita is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
