Story
Introducing Pongo, a charming young male Dalmatian mix with a personality as distinctive as his spots. Pongo is a delightful blend of playfulness and affection, making him the perfect companion for those who appreciate a dog with a big heart and a bit of spunk. Pongo's Personality and Traits: Dog-Friendly: Pongo loves the company of other dogs, though he appreciates a few introductions before forming friendships. Once he gets to know them, he's a loyal playmate. Unknown with Cats: His interactions with cats are still a mystery, so careful introductions will be necessary if you have feline friends. Initial Barking: Pongo tends to bark at new people but quickly warms up and wants to be friends once he feels comfortable. Love Bug: This loveable pup is incredibly affectionate, always eager for cuddles and companionship. He can be a bit whiny, but it's just his way of expressing his need for attention. Strength and Playfulness: Pongo is a strong boy who needs someone capable of managing his strength on walks. He loves to play and can pull on the leash, so a firm hand is essential. Responsive: Pongo listens well to commands, making training sessions enjoyable and productive. Nippy and Reactive: He has been nippy a few times when startled, but these are fear-based reactions rather than aggression. Understanding his triggers and providing reassurance will help him feel secure. Vet Visits: Pongo is fearful of the vet and requires a muzzle and relaxation meds during appointments. Patience and gentle handling can help make these experiences less stressful for him. What to Expect When Adopting Pongo: Patience and Understanding: Pongo thrives in an environment where he feels safe and loved. Be patient with his initial reactions and work on building his confidence. Training and Management: Regular training sessions will be beneficial in reinforcing commands and managing his strength. Consider using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior. Socialization: Arrange playdates with other dogs and introduce him to new environments to help him become well-adapted and confident. Exercise Needs: Pongo has plenty of energy to burn. Daily walks, playtime, and engaging activities will keep him happy and healthy. Healthcare Considerations: Work with your vet to ensure Pongo's visits are as stress-free as possible. Discuss strategies to help ease his fear during appointments. Adopting Pongo means welcoming a loyal and loving companion into your life. With the right care and attention, he'll become a cherished member of your family, offering endless affection and joy. Are you ready to give Pongo the loving home he deserves? Story
PONGO is a lovely 12 month old Dalmatian with lots of energy. He is a strong boy, so is best to walk on a no-pull harness. He may have a little bit of Greyhound in him, given his larger size, as he is 62 pounds. PONGO is very intelligent, protective, is a love bug, has a huge heart, listens to commands, and is cuddly, playful, loyal, and ready to bond. He is house trained and comfortable in a crate for short periods. He is protective and careful, and may bark at new people, but then he wants to be friends. Pongo is dog friendly (as you can see in the photo with his two Dalmatian friends), but needs a few slow introductions before friendship is established. Like some Dalmatians, he can be a little nippy/reactive (no biting at all) when suddenly startled or scared by something. PONGO is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and current on flea/tick/worm medications. Story
If you ask Rolly, all of his spots represent a moment of fun he wants to have. And let's cut to the chase: He's covered in 'em. This silly, happy young pup is always ready to tackle the day by your side. Whether you want to hit the trails, take a neighborhood stroll, or play at home, Rolly is ready. His fosters describe him as wiggly, happy, and best of all, friendly when he's meeting new people. They said, "Rolly loves everything." And their favorite thing about him? "His silliness and playfulness. And his eagerness to learn! Watching him slowly learn big boy skills like leash training and relaxation has made me feel so proud of him. He's a smart little dude!" Rolly loves to play with other dogs and would love to go home with another playful dog or be your conduit to becoming the most social dog parent in the neighborhood. So if you've been looking for a silly, happy, spotted addition to your life, Rolly is ready to join you.

Story
Baloo is a 2.5-year-old Dalmatian mix who is very smart, and VERY goofy. He is an intense sniffer, preferring to spend most of his time with his nose glued to the ground, and if you're not careful he'll wander off while following his nose. He also has a nervous disposition, particularly in new situations, so when Baloo encounters new places or new people/dogs, he prefers to sniff everything out until he is comfortable before breaking out his charming personality. , While Baloo can be very selective with his friends, particularly his dog friends, once he has gotten to know you and accept you, he's fiercely loyal and incredibly loving. Whenever he sees an unexpected friend (dog or human), his tail wags so hard that his body wiggles all over the place and he can barely walk straight. Baloo also gets the zoomies A LOT (did I mention he has a ton of energy?) so he loves to be outside. However, since Baloo gets really attached to his human/dog friends, he doesn't particularly enjoy being out in the yard on his own. He doesn't usually get separation anxiety (although he can in some situations), and he can be left alone for long periods of time, but he generally prefers to go explore with his group of dogs/humans nearby. While Baloo does exhibit some behaviors that would be cause for concern for certain owners, we believe an experienced owner or an owner that is committed to training/has trained in the past to deal with complex dogs would be able to take great care of him. Ultimately, we love Baloo very much and want the best for him, and we know that he can be the perfect dog for someone looking a dog with a lot of love to give who needs a lot of attention and love in return. Story
Nova is such a sweet girl! She is very curious and active and loves exploring. Her favorite things to do are go for walks, spend time in the yard looking for squirrels, and nap on the couch with her people around her. She is fully potty trained and very mild mannered. She’s a real love bug with her people but would do best as the center of attention in a 1-pet household.
