One of our veteran foster families spent some time with Luna 2 recently and let us know all about their time with this great gal! "Luna was an absolute delight! She was very well behaved on the leash, energetic but not a puller unless squirrels dash by. Luna is mellow even when other dogs are barking at her. She was happy to chase balls in our backyard and enjoyed taking naps in the sun. She also loved a good chew toy and some tummy rubs. Luna is a very quiet dog - I don't believe we ever heard her bark. She seems comfortable with some alone time, and she waited patiently for us to greet her in the morning after we slept in a different part of the house. She also travels well in a car. Luna is a big, athletic dog, and it is clear that she is still young and can get mouthy and jump up when playing or roughhousing, but she responds well when corrected. She can sit, lie down, and shake hands on command. Luna is a bright, beautiful, curious, sweet, and fun loving dog. Luna would benefit from more exposure to a variety of people as she seems a bit cautious about interacting with new people and is also protective of her existing relationships. Having said that, she took quickly to us and we fell in love with her over the weekend."

This mama is still busy raising her litter, but will be available at the end of September. She was found homeless with a litter out in the cold. She was giving everything she had to them. She has been another amazing mom. She deserves a loving home of her own once she is done raising these babies. Like our other mamas, if an adopter would like her to attend six weeks of training in our prison training program, all our mamas are eligible for that.
