This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Mazie and goodness what a cracker jack she is. Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy. She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance. Mazie is 30 pounds and 9 months old. She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told. Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl. Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her. We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning. She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them. She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily. Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say. She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE! Story

Daisy and Donut are 2 yrs old. The perfect age as they are all grown out of the puppy stages. They are both housebroken and just the sweetest lovable dogs. They are current on all vaccinations and preventatives and have been spayed and neutered. Daisy is a little more high energy but not excessive. She is wonderful especially if she has a chewy bone or toy. Not destructive, she just likes something to chew on. Donut is lower energy but still loves to chase a ball and play with his sibling. They both know sit and will shake when asked as well. Leash and kennel trained and will sleep in their kennel 8-9 hours with no problems. They are great dogs and their family does not want to give them up but they have had a coupled unexpected deaths in the family and unforeseen circumstances that make it unfair for these two as far as time and space. Their current family would love for them to go together and the adoption fees can be adjusted accordingly if we can find a spot together for them both. The owner of Arlo, Lainey and 4 other akc registered doxies was living in a rental home with 4 children and the landlord said the dogs had to go. Her mom took them while she was supposed to find another place to live but that did not happen. Her mom had 3 dogs of her own and was overwhelmed so she asked for help. All the dogs are sweet but we took Arlo and Lainey. These two are quite bonded so we are going to try to place them together. They are both spay/neutered, UTD on vaccines and HW negative, They will also be microchipped. In their original home, they were left on a self feeder and I am afraid Arlo overindulged but Lainey was able to keep her figure. They are both so so sweet and cute! They both Love cuddles and kisses! They both seem to be reliably housetrained. Arlo is a red pie bald and Lainey is a black and tan wirehaired doxie. Lainey was born on 9/10/2021 so she is 3 years old, Arlo is 4. Due to their petite size, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. Allow me to introduce Delilah aka Weezie! This precious girl is a chihuahua dachshund mix and weighs 10 lbs. She is around 3 years old. She has the cutest overbite we have ever seen. Delilah is the mother of the pups that we currently have. She is excited to move on from motherhood, and finally get to live a life for her own! This precious girl is very sweet natured. She is playful, loving and super friendly. She will need someone that is patient with her in the potty training aspect Before rescue, she was locked in a bedroom all the time so she really doesn't know any better. That's okay, we will teach her! This precious girl has come a long way. She was emaciated and riddled with parasites when we got her. Even then, she was so happy and joyful.
